I'm an active homosexual, am I destined to hell?

You have been given suggestions throughout this thread. Why not read through the 300 plus posts and see if you can find them;) They are there TEEN, it is up to you if you want to take them or keep making snippy comments every time one is suggested!

There where other tools suggested also.
Why not in regards to Courage? I would think if you really wanted “help” you would try every avenue open to you🤷

I was not being mean, just matter of fact in my opinion.

You come here asking questions etc. and when you dont hear what you want you get snippy in your replies. You have been offered advice and you have been pointed towards a group that could help you, but since the advice and the group go against what “you” want to do you get snippy.
The door is always open TEEN. Courage will always be there for you if you want to seek their help. The church will always be there, if you want to seek their help. The teachings will always be there, they will not change. You need to realize that you have self control, you are not just some animal that has to give in to your urges.
I keep you and your struggle in my prayers TEEN.
 
Jesus consistently admonished those He healed with the words, "Go and sin no more, " not, “If it feels good, do it.”

You clearly have no desire to live a chaste life. Your attitude on this thread is evidence to prove this. You almost seem proud of your SSA. I have a feeling that you started this thread for sheer enjoyment. You don’t want our help.

You will not like it but we Catholics will never condone homosexual acts. Having SSA is not a sin but acting on your desires is wrong and is to be condemned.

I know that you are not Catholic but I know for certain that the LDS Church is against homosexuality. In fact, the Mormon Church has excommunicated many practicing homosexuals. The Mormons expect all homosexuals to be chaste.

The fact is that your own religion is against homosexual acts. You are called to live a chaste life if you are unable to overcome this disorder. You have been informed of organisations which will help you fight your SSA but you have shown no desire to join.

Only God will judge you. We can’t and we won’t. However, it is my duty to inform you that to be an active homosexual is wrong. God has revealed that this form of sexuality goes against his will. Read the Bible and see. You may try and deny this but it is the plain truth.

Ultimately, you have the decision to make. It is your life and yours alone. I would suggest that you stop being immature and learn to deal with the cards that you have been dealt with. There is no reason for you to boast about your SSA on a Catholic website.

I’m not mormon nor have I got any pleasure from this thread at all. Part of me believes homosexuality is sinful, part of me does not.

With all due respect, this remark strikes me as extremely uncharitable and totally inappropriate.

Comments like this give people the wrong idea about Catholics.
