Yes, I’m 16.
Teen4Christ,

At 16 you have admitted to engaging in oral sex. That is wrong whether gay or straight. So, in fact, you sexual orientation is not the question here.

Please see your confessor immediately. Please try to refrain from further acts of this type.

Don’t worry about your orientation at this point in time. The first lesson you need to learn is chastity for the unmarried.

I pray for you and keep you close in my heart.

I engaged in the sexual acts back in june before I reconverted to christianity, I regret it, but I can not change the past.

Then, see your confessor. Be forgiven. No need to change the past. But please realize that the issue now is not your attraction but of your acting chastely. Fight that fight first!

I’ll be chaste untill I get married to my future husband:)

The person you are attacking repeativily has responded inaccordance with the Catholic Churches teachings
is that correct? In the post where the kid indicated he believed marriage between men was acceptable the response was 3 laughs and “Sorry but you are mistaken!” (post 113) Look again at your own post which contained CC 2358. I think you were asked to cite the catholic church reference for that laughing. Was it convenient to ignore that request?
and so far you have given us your opinion which most of it has contradicted the Churches teachings.
sorry but I cannot take this seriously
I will say to you what Christ said to Peter "get behind me Satan! You are an obstacleto me.
drama?
You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do.
thank you I’ll consider your opinion
" Texas all any one has tried to do here is help Teen and yet you insist on making us out to be bad guys.
It may well be true that many have opinions as the method to use. However the Catholic Church teachings are clear. By the way (btw) have you read about reprobate therapy? Those are people who also try to help. Of course some say let’s kill gay people, they think that helps also
You never anwsered my question about the child and the big truck. If your son was standing in the road and a big truck was coming and going to hit him and kill him and you said get out of the way but he said I don’t beleive you the truck will not hurt me would you tell him OK son your opinion is valid and who am I to argue with that? What would you do if that were your kid in the middle of the road.
Sorry I missed this question earlier I simple did not see it below the catechism postings. The question is inherently flawed. It is a leading question designed to self perpetuate a preexisting belief. How about I tell you I had the truck stop?
Teen here is the reason why we should follow the churches teachungs, because every one who is against the churches teachings has a diffrent opinion. The churches teachings have been intact for more than 2000 years and have proven right, just read the lives of the Saints and the Church Fathers teachins. Look at all the miracles the church has produced with intersessions of the saints and miracles at Holy places such as Lourdes.
The church does not claim to perform miracles, revelations occur to the church not from the church. Mary is the saint who has returned for us. The Church claims no authority to summon her up. All Saints by definition have performed miracles, not the Popes or Magisterium
FYI the church teaching of high relevance are 1) All unmarried people are to be celibate, 2) 2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God’s will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.
Hope that answers any questions you had

I believe that homosexuality is a mental disorder. It is not normal. People are not born that way. They become homosexual due to childhood experiences. Maybe they feel emasculated. Maybe they didn’t have a strong father figure. There is something wrong with them.

I don’t care what anyone says. Homosexuality is sick and it certainly isn’t normal. People who are active homosexuals are wrong.

Some people will say that homosexuality is no worse than heterosexual sex outside of marriage. I disagree. It is worse. At least in heterosexual sex outside of marriage, the act remains open to life.

I have no doubt that people will disagree with me but I don’t care.

Quite obviously you’re not serious. You don’t believe in God. Therefore, why worry about “hell”, which is a nonsense concept to you!?

Continue doing as you’re doing, and you’ll be fine, a you might measure “fine-ness”, until the rather startling discovery at that time between your “life” and your “oblivion”.

You probably think that death is oblivion. It’s not, but there’s no way to prove that to you. Oblivion never happens.

But to answer the OP: If you are truly forgiven before your death, you’ll find heaven regardless of your acts in life, but it gets MORE AND MORE (exponentially) difficult to do what needs to be done to be truly forgiven, which is admitting your errors, the closer you get to your death.

Best of luck to you! I suggest you start early and avoid the “crunch” and “cramming”.

I am serious, please stop with the judgemental comments.

I’ll be chaste untill I get married to my future husband:)
I feel for you Teen4Christ.

But when you respond with comments such as this you show yourself as biased and unwilling to learn.

I realize you are 16 but so is my daughter and she can respond in much a less childish and snippy manner. I suggest that if you are truly asking guidance, grow up with your postings.

If you were my child and spoke to me in such a manner you would find yourself grounded.

I wasn’t being childish, I was being 100% serious. Please explain how that post was childish.

Thanks everyone, but I’ve decided to just go with the flow for right now, maybe I’ll be attracted to a woman someday, maybe I won’t, but i’m not gonna continue beating a dead horse, it cause me too much pain. God bless you all.
-Matt
So basically, you only posted here looking for the answer you wanted?

I wasn’t being childish, I was being 100% serious. Please explain how that post was childish.
I’m sorry but you are being childish.

Did you answer any of my suggestions with anything other than a curlish comment?

I asked you to consider living chastely as a teen. Your response?

“I’ll be chaste untill I get married to my future husband”

Yet, you are not, by your own admission chaste. You engage in unchaste actions by your own admission.

Sometimes, when you go to the doctor, you have to WANT healing.

I, and all here, still love you. If you want to listen and learn from Jesus, listen to His words…

" All who have ears hear me".

Wifeandmomoftwo,

Hello again! I’m sorry for butting in again but I am trying really hard to understand why you are asking him this question and how you don’t see the answer as obvious. You also asked Teen4Christ if he was attacked because of being gay or because of flaunting gay acts. Would it make a difference?

Every single gay person is affected by “homophobia”. And for kids his age, it’s every single day. Do you think an african american kid is personally affected when someone on the other side of the room is called the “N” word? Or is only the target of that word affected? When I was in school I heard the word “fa…ot” used as an insult (countless times) every single day. Did that affect me (and does it still)? Absolutely.

There are people in this country, including “christians”, who would kill me if they knew I was gay and feel justified to do so. Maybe you haven’t run into the christian website declaring that homosexual acts should be punishable by death. Do you think Teen4Christ and others are affected by the story of Matthew Shepard’s brutal beating and murder?

Do I have to be the one beaten up before I’m personally affected by that kind of hatred?

Maybe Teen4Christ was unlucky enough to see Fred Phelps and his clan protesting at the burial of an American soldier. Protesting by holding up signs declaring God’s hatred of faggots and laughing at the thought of him burning in hell. Maybe Teen4Christ stumbled onto Fred Phelps’ website.

Prejudice and hatred for homosexuals in this country is overwhelming. Most of that prejudice could care less whether you’ve committed the “act” or not. You may not see it like Teen4Christ or myself does, but it’s out there and at times it’s terrifying.

I’m sorry again for stepping in and I hope this sheds some light.

Peace and Love
See I did not know that (see part I bolded).
Thank you Kolbe, I honestly did not see it from this POV.

Nothing against councelers and physchiatrist but if you ask them how there life is going and they are honest they will probably tell you they are just as unhappy or more unhappy. Jesus is Love, Jesus is merciful, and Jesus is just. There is hope for you and noone here has tried to hurt you or make fun of you we love you as our brother in Christ and want to see you in heaven glorifying God when the time comes. You have been given a heavy cross and no one can minimize that, however Christ gave his life for you. He was betrayed, beaten, mocked, told to carry his own sentence of death and crucified. He could have denounced his teachings many times top the Jews and to Pilute but he chose to die for you and he wants you to picj up your cross and carry all the way to calvery. He promises you eternal salvation and a happy ending that last for ever. You can do it man. Don’t settle for less. You will have such an impact on many others by the deccision you make. If you chose to pick up your cross and carry for the Love of God you will be a light that shines for so many others who share your pain and burden. We all carry crosses, some larger than others and you are not alone. Thats love. God loves you so much that he would give up his only Son so that you would be free. All that he asks of you is to imiatate him.
:amen: :blessyou:

homophobia is the mental disorder good sir
🙂
I’m not afraid of homosexuals. That’s what homophobia is. Homophobia is an irrational fear of homosexuality. My uncle was a practicing homosexual. Gays don’t bother me.

However, I will say that homosexuality is wrong and sick. It is not normal.

The fact is that most people are naturally repulsed by homosexuality. The only reason society accepts it is because of gay activists in the media. We have been brainwashed to think that it is normal. It is no more normal than pedophilia. The fact is that homosexuality is disordered and goes against nature.

However, I will say that I have nothing against those who suffer from same-sex attraction. I do, however, have a problem with homosexual behaviour. Hate the sin, love the sinner.

In fact, I think that the promotion of the so-called homosexual lifestyle should be criminalised. They should not be allowed to push their agendas on a public forum. ''Gay marriage" is a joke and it makes a mockery of the sacrament of matrimony. Also, children should not be taught about homosexuality in school. Gays shouldn’t be allowed to adopt children, and I don’t think they should be admitted to the priesthood. The sexual abuse scandals are mostly homosexual in nature and that is a fact.

Sorry but I find the idea of two men or two woman marrying funny!
And yes the comment of “Sorry you are mistaken” stands…
it is not ok for two men or two woman to have sex regardless if the state ever allows them to marry.
AND WHEN HAS THE CHURCH BANNED LAUGHING??

Teen4Christ:
No, I don’t. But I do believe if two men are married it’s ok,
WIFE/POST 113:
Sorry but you are mistaken!

wifeandmomof2,

I’ve never thought of your posts being anything other than one trying to helpTeen4Christ understand the proper teachings of our catholic church.

Maybe that’s because I believe in the teachings of our catholic church?😉

THANK YOU IAMREFRESHED.
Sorry for the caps (caps lock got stuck).

I see you have encountered the frustrating postings of Teen also.
And yes, getting him to understand the teachings of the Church is all I wanted to do, but it would seem, by Teens own comments, he is really not interested in those teachings as they do not allow him to do what he wants to do:shrug:
All I can do is keep him in my prayers!
