I used to love the original version of this song when I was a child. My sister, who owned the 45, not as much, haha.

My best friend’s dad when we were kids had a big collection of fun novelty songs on 45 rpm vinyl, which we loved to listen to. This was one, as well as “classics” like Lucky Ladybug, Monster Mash, Battle of New Orleans, Surfer Joe, and others.
