That’s because paganism is not a single religion but a variety of religions. For some people (not referring to you now, but to some others posting in this very thread) it is of course easier to divide humanity into just two fractions - my religion = good, the rest = evil.
Yes I sometimes make that mistake, I realise there are various forms of modern paganism (Norse, Celtic, Druidic, Hellenic, Slavic, Wicca, Asatru etc etc) but in many forms of Wicca et al. as has been pointed out above, there is an adoption of other gods from other traditions, sort of syncreticism as with Santeria, Vodoun etc.

Oh i see. Here I thought I was talking to a Christian. You seem to have indicated otherwise. You can no more condemn me to Hell than you can get yourself into Heaven by your own will.

I haven’t put anyone down, I made a comment which you seem to have taken offence to. I am sorry that you take offence but the comment was not for you, and you have no right to be offended by it. Have Pagan Fury come back to chat and if I feel it necessary I will apologise to him.

As for this discussion. If you are not afraid of God then nothing I say will change your mind.

EDIT: accidently hit the submit rather than preview, heavy changes have been made to this post.
I am christian, and I am terrified of God, but if He sees fit to damn me for sticking up for a pagans free will when hes being put down, then, I will go peacefully

Well, in Asatru, the proper term for the neo-pagan form of the Norse religion, there is no official place for witchcraft. There is no official* faith either, but anyhoo…

*ex officio
Says right there witches worship Odin as a god, I go with the book.

No one has free will in the end. You either repent and go to Heaven or off to the Lake of Fire.

There are those that seek the truth and those that do not. I challenge you to seek the truth.

If you are unafraid/willing to go to Hell, which as you said is a ‘‘one way ticket’’ (while you condemned me) then something is the matter with your faith.

I’m not saying pagans don’t have a right to free will. MY ENTIRE point today was that he isn’t here to read your comments.

Oh…and that we can preach via the internet.

youre right no one has free will
so why bother pagan fury about something God makes him do?
If Gods making him do that then God’s making me do this. Don’t bother us about it.

And we won’t bother you about what you are forced to do.

And so on.

And so forth.

Ad infinitum.

😛

Amicus1

Post #183-You are willing to suffer enternal torment in the Lake of Fire defending the right of Pagan Fury to free will.

Post #188 You tell FoA that he (sorry if you’re a girl FoA just an assumption) is right and nobody has free will

Which is your opinion?

Im afraid to go to hell, but if its Gods will, let it be done
MY comments are encouraging, pagan fury knows Id rather he were christian, but i agree with freedom. He can do and say and belive what he wants what he wants.
theres one of him, he doesnt need everyone in the forum to chastize him. One person is needed to exorcize demons. ONE not everyONE in the forum. AND he was here originally to see whod bash him, which you did.
Applause and blessings to those who did not.
But I gotta go

Go then. I didn’t bash him. And most members welcomed him. He didn’t get what he asked for, which was a crusade against him.

Take care and God bless.

Good. If you pursue it honestly an atheist position will no longer be tenable.
That I regard quite differently, but I don’t want to turn this thread into just another useless atheist-theist discussion.

Anyway, if I should worship the gods one day, the Norse pantheon looks far more sympathetic to me than some other gods I’ve heard of.

Then you have taken the truth out of your search.

You are so far gone there is little to no hope for you. You have rejected God and goodness. You will pay for the rest of eternity for your decision. The bible tells us what to do with such, we will shake the dust from our feet and leave you to yourself. Now you may do the same.
Wow. Can anyone say Pharisee? Goodness man. We should never stop showing the love of Christ.
