?Are your post and responses are meaning to be sarcastic?
Sarcasm in the context of forums/texts/emails can be easily misinterpreted and can lead to emotionally charged responses.
Please proceed with caution.

Your point being?? 🙂

Then, there is Phillipians 2:3 to consider, not to mention Luke 18: 9-14

Proverbs 27:2

Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips.

(look for my guest appearance at 2:35)

He who is second last is at least not last.
He who is second is not fast enough.

If there are only 2 people competing, being second last ain’t half bad!

Errrr. Let’s simplify this. Two people participate. Slowest one come in last. The other person comes in…?

It appears that you can add to your accomplishments: revealing that some CAF members have misplaced their sense of humor. 😉

The thing is,we shouldn’t really compare …we look to the fore and take as many with us I feel.
I don’t know if there is ever a real contentedness with where we are spiritually ,the more we grow in spirituality the more we need to grow closer to God…the yearning is never satisfied?

I’m practically perfect in every way.
I rise after midnight to pray Vigils. Fully chanted in Latin of course. Back to bed for a few hours and then up again before dawn for Matins and Lauds. I then walk 5 miles up hill to daily Mass. After Mass I pray all the mysteries of the Rosary before the Blessed Sacrament. After this I make a daily pilgrimage, crawling on my knees, to a grotto. When I finally get home, well past mid-day, I break my fast and begin my spiritual readings. Finally I start my 12 hour secular work day and raise my family of 15 kids.
I am the ideal Catholic.
This post is completely serious. True story.

I am reminded of Lake Wobegon, where all the children are above average.

Could it be that God thinks we are all above average?
