I agree with these sentiments. Seeing a “cross” in light at night is not that unusual given the way our eyes work–e.g. the glow around a bright street lamp. Did you take any other pictures from this same vantage point in similar weather conditions? What you need is a photographic “control” in order to look for significant differences.
Yes I see what you mean and if we all see it different ways was it ever truly anything. I doubt it. But everyone agrees on the image that appears to be like the Divine Mercy, that I think is worth looking at in more detail.

**InSearchOfGod **Your sentiments do make sense… Especially in God knowing that certain enviormental factors creating images such as this that will appear to us to take the shape of Jesus or other religious figures. I just think it is God’s way of showing us his beauty and power.
**Writer **I did take 3 successive pics on the same night… taken within a couple of seconds. I made a webpage BELOW where you can see the dramatic changes that took place in a span of 3-5 seconds.

In the first pic you can see the light on top starting to spread out, in the second you see the light on top burst to the sides and then as I move the camera upwards and to the right you finally see what appears to look like the “Divine Mercy”.
Just as I took the pic the lights to the building on the right were turned off… perhaps to give all the focus to Our Lord.

I don’t know which link you looked at (post #6 has the pic), but, the one I am talking about is not only two beams of light. There is something else there, but, if you don’t see it… tis’ okay.

…Just a bit curious but my town does not get its water (drinking etc.) from the Hudson are other parts of Jersey different? I thought only the NY’s drank that sludge
