The hypothesis of AGW - CAGW demands that these two periods not be admitted.

They have denied the Medieval Warm Period…or tried to explain it away.

That doesn’t mean he denies facts. He admits that it hasn’t warmed in the last 16 years, but claims that is too short of time for a “climate” pattern.

If 16 years is too short how can he base his claims on a mere 20 years?

AGAIN READ THE RULES

I absolutely know where Mr Jones stands as far as AGW-CAGW.

I also Absolutely know what the word “significance” means in science and stats.

Do you? Please tell us what you think it means as far as science and stats go.

What part of this statement by Mr Jones do you not understand?

So, in answer to the question, the warming rates for all 4 periods are similar and not statistically significantly different from each other.

Question: If you can’t “validate” your computer model OR your hypothesis - how can you place a value of “significance”?

Phil Jones NEVER said that the earths temperature has not increased in the last 16 years. Go back and re-read the posts! As a matter of fact he believes (along with NASA and every other legitimate scientific organization ) that in the last 16 years temperatures have increased.
