Michael Cohen is in jail for the conspiracy. The president is named in the information filed by the prosecutor.

—Trump Foundation----

I linked to an article not behind a paywall. You should google trump foundation shut down for more articles.

The agreement, which still must be approved by a judge, requires the Trump Foundation to submit a list of not-for-profit groups that will receive distributions from the remaining assets.

Underwood alleged in her lawsuit that Trump’s charity was, for years, “little more than an empty shell” with no oversight by a functioning board of directors, and she pointed out that the nonprofit had not had a board meeting since 1999.

Underwood said the foundation also made a series of questionable donations to other charitable organizations to settle legal claims involving Trump businesses, including his South Florida Mar-a-Lago retreat, while another donation went toward promoting Trump’s international hotels. The attorney general’s office also alleged that Trump handed over control of the charity to his presidential campaign in 2016, as it made strategic donations to charities and events in key campaign states like Iowa and New Hampshire.

To be fair, there is basically zero evidence of anything that could be regarded as a positive crowd for Trumps visit to the capital.
You’re assuming the reportage is unbiased, which might not be a correct assumption either here or in Britain.
a man who had milkshake thrown on him
Possibly people simply avoided the thugs who did show up. People get seriously injured at soccer matches in England and it just might not be any safer to show up with a MAGA hat in England than it is here.
They had one story that was regarding Ivanka looking over ‘huge crowds’ at Buckingham palace, but all pictures where of her at the window and nothing of the crowd referenced
So that source lied? How do you know, or do you just want to think so?
Trump is held in very poor regard here
That I do not doubt. London is not England as a whole any more than L.A. is the U.S.

It’s hazardous anymore to believe any of the media about anything, since they’re all totally politicized now. All one can do is look at what one has available, usually after the fact, and fill in the blanks with guesswork. Even then, as the Sandmann story demonstrates, one is likely to be wrong. The bishop of Covington bought the media version hook, line and sinker when he should have had more faith in his students than he clearly did. Ultimately, of course, he learned the truth days later. But had it not been for some fortuitous recording at the scene, the media version would have been deemed the “truth”.

Be skeptical, Ruby.

Newspaper reporting is especially biased - hence why I deliberately referenced the Daily Mail. It is the most conservative paper in the UK and has been overwhelmingly pro Trump, especially during the time of his visit. Of all papers to report on any pro Trump crowds, the Daily Mail would be the one to do it, but none of its reports did so.

According to Trump, they were out there cheering for him. His exact words were: ''The big crowds, which the Corrupt Media hates to show, were those that gathered in support of the USA and me.

“They were big & enthusiastic as opposed to the organised flops!”

If the ‘organised flop’ was at the teeny tiny estimate of 3000-10,000 people, it should be fairly easy for someone, somewhere to have gotten video or photo evidence of the bigger, non flop crowd of supporters.
So that source lied? How do you know, or do you just want to think so?
I have no idea if the source lied. Im just saying that is the only large crowd referenced by the Daily Mail in relation to Trump’s visit, but they were unable to/chose not to provide picture evidence of that.

True, London accounts for around 15% of the population of England, but it isnt a wild outlier. Generally speaking, the whole of the UK is far more liberal than the US population. In the absence of any real affiliation with Trump’s personal politics (which are extreme far right in comparison to here), his only real redeeming quality would be his personality, which is… not great.

In contrast, Obama was hugely popular here because his personal politics largely matched with our own and he was regarded as charming personality wise.

This is the age of 24 hour media, twitter, smart phones! The world’s press were there, according to him, thousands of his supporters were there, but no one has a video/photo of it? One can certainly be sceptical, and indeed, scepticism is wise in many cases, but when one side can provide much evidence and the other produces none, it becomes much easier to form an opinion.

London is more liberal than England as a whole. The Brexit vote clearly demonstrates that.
I don’t doubt that England as a whole is more liberal than the U.S. as a whole.

Obama was indeed popular with the European elites, which is why he received a Nobel Peace Prize before he did anything at all. Basically, he got the prize for being a liberal. Things like that only reinforce my doubts about British reportage. If they’ll give out fraudulent Nobel prizes, there can be no certainty as to the extent of the fraud they’ll commit in order to promote their political point of view.

I think you mean “trapped” them. He really didn’t catch anything at the end of the day against anyone except Manafort, which was entirely irrelevant to what he was suppose to be investigating.

He didn’t prosecute anybody for anything connected with Russia either. It wasn’t there to do. And even with Manafort Mueller charged him with charges that Rosenstein let go years earlier.

Feb. 16, 2018: Charged with conspiracy to defraud the U.S. for allegedly engaging in a widespread effort to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. Three defendants are charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and five defendants are charged with aggravated identity theft.

Oh that’s right. He indicted a bunch of Russians for something else, who will never be arrested or tried or testify, and had nothing to do with any “collusion” on the part of the Trump campaign. Cheap and a total waste of taxpayer money.

So, you are good at moving the goalposts.

This was really important. Russians were indicted for interfering with our 2016 Presidential election. It’s been established they wanted Trump to be elected. It’s been shown that the Trump campaign attempted to engage in a conspiracy, but Don jr was too stupid to do that.

So, you said nothing connected with Russians but the Mueller report is rife with examples.
Not moving the goal posts. I simply did not think about the bogus prosecution of the Russians because their charges have nothing to do with the Trump campaign.

Let’s see your proof that the Trump campaign attempted to engage in a conspiracy. If you’re talking about the Veselnitskaya approach, you’re way off base. Even if Don Jr had gotten dirt on Hillary, it wouldn’t have been against the law. But he didn’t anyway.

Mueller made no charges of any Trump campaign person, let alone Trump himself, based on “collusion” with Russia. That was Mueller’s job, and he had plenty of Trump haters working for him and spent 30 million dollars and nearly two years working on it. He even had FBI investigations and spy information from before that. And he didn’t charge anybody for collusion with Russia.

As you pointed out, he charged some Russians with a totally different interference (and you know it was). And you know too that the Russians are in Russia and will never be tried for any crime at all.

I didn’t realize they were prosecuted?
The Russians? I think they were indicted, but never arrested, and unless they’re tried in absentia, they’ll never be convicted, and if convicted of something, they’ll never give testimony or be punished. And in any event, there’s no allegation that they acted in concert with anybody in the Trump campaign.

Might as well have indicted some Martians.

Yep! Look is like a pretty massive crowd of supporters👍
