That is a fair comment. The key point is that when discussing political figures, there is a very “good reason”.

In a democracy where we the people are tasked with selecting our president, consideration of the character of those seeking our vote is entirely proper, as is the discussion of those considerations. It is important that those considerations are not rash, but thoughtful and that we hold to the truth in our thinking and discussion.

Now, what are the good reasons for uncharitable remarks about others posters?

The FISA warrant issue calls attention to a questionable law that tramples on the 4th Amendment. This is a battle ( liberty vs crime control) that fills court reporters with tens of thousands of cases conservatively. Appealed from the hundreds of thousands supression motions are filed in. Because Trump was the target, and directed the full power of his office to his own exculpation, we see what defense attorneys routinely see.
Guess what! Once Trump harvests his personal interest, it will be forgotten. For the rest of us

Zelensky call was second, also soon to be a failure. The Democrats have already stated they are working on another phase.

The IG report stated it as did many other sources (even the progressive ones!).

The anti-Trump folks are so caught up in the lies told by Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi et all. as well as the main stream media they can’t think objectively about what the real issues. They also can’t back off their position because they have put too much emotion into it. No matter what happens, no matter what proof, no matter what may come out, the Republicans and Trump supporters will always be evil in their eyes.

I imagine when Democrats lose elections this fall they will want to impeach Trump again for influencing an election by being acquitted by the Senate.

There is no point in continuing with any political discussion on CAF. Consensus cannot be reached.

All it shows is why the Dems need to win the Senate. You cannot have an AG whose extreme views are that Trump cannot only NOT BE CHARGED but also NOT INVESTIGATED, FOR CRIME
AND
GOP Senators afraid to breath in a way disfavored by Trump.
By definition, he becomes an autocrat and above the law.
It can’t get more clear than that.

Democrats understand people’s loyalty to Trump. I can say this. Democrats were angry at Clinton after he was impeached and I think you will be with Trump.
It I none of your faults that one day after Mueller testified and he was finally I the clear, he went gangbusters doing the same thing with Rudy.
Think about yourselves. It is hard to defend arrogance
