Thank God Trump has courage. He makes his supporters proud. The Dems will never squirm, they are too bold.
I agree, this is why, even if I don’t agree with everything that Trump does, I’ve got to be very apprehensive of some antics by the Democrats. Even with the bad publicity that Senator Menendez NJ has gotten (and I consider that to be largely unproven), on international matters, he’s pretty good. So, it certainly isn’t that I see all of them as bad but this has been a disgraceful week for our country and it could see the Democrats suffer very badly. I was not really paying attention to politics when Clinton was impeached but I’ve got mixed feelings on that. Maybe Clinton shouldn’t have been.

Unless, of course, he wanted to be taken seriously.
I would have thought the comments of as distinguished and well known a lawyer and constitutional scholar as Alan Dershowitz would be taken seriously. But if you prefer Adam Schiff, who seems to have been channeling Wile E Coyote, that’s entirely understandable.

Harvard Professor, I don’t know if he still is but a pretty respected fig ure.

Dershowitz is only looked upon favorably by conservatives. He’s like the token Jewish conservative liberal, the one people point to as if to say, “See? I can like Jewish liberals.”

So either
(A) There is no impeachment or
(B) Democrat “expert” was incompetent all along
False binary.
I had forgotten about the State of the Union address. If the House hasn’t sent the articles to the Senate by then I would expect Trump to point that out in a most unflattering way.
Here is NP’s invitation:
"In their great wisdom, our Founders crafted a Constitution based on a system of separation of powers: three co-equal branches acting as checks on each other. To ensure that balance of powers, the Constitution calls for the president to ‘from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union,’ " Pelosi wrote in a letter to Trump.

“In the spirit of respecting our Constitution, I invite you to deliver your State of the Union address before a Joint Session of Congress on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in the Chamber of the U.S. House of Representatives.”
Trump fans may love to see Trump take the bait and use the State of the Union Address in an unflattering way. Others may see this as the last straw in his unfit, unstatesmanlike conduct.
The ratings will be high. The reviews will be mixed.

He got OJ off.

Wow, just wow.

And being a Harvard professor means nothing either?

BTW, it’s interesting to mention one’s faith. He has indeed mentioned the rising anti-semitism in the Democratic party and that he has severe differences with it.

I would add in, we have seen this past week, columns fron the Bulwark (Bill Kristol’s project I am led to believe), the American Conservative, co-founded by Pat Buchanan and perhaps the good judge Andrew Napolitano has been quoted.

An interesting reaction to say the least.

Here is a response to Feldman’s novel thinking:

Also from Republican witness Jonathan Trurley.

Bottom line: the House has full power of Impeachment and has passed a resolution that says that Trump is impeached.

Trump is impeached.

To be clear, there is indeed antisemitism on the left. Loads of it. But just as Republicans distance themselves from people like Colin Powell because he doesn’t really espouse the party line, so too do Democrats distance themselves from Dershowitz. The only time I hear him mentioned favorably is by Republicans, who often point out that “even a Democrat Jew says…”. I’m merely pointing out that fact — not supporting it.

Seems that’s the ad hominem the Dems hurl at the Republicans. That any black who is a in the Republican party is either an Uncle Tom or being used by the party to show their inclusiveness.Again more projection by the Dems, they accuse Republicans of being racist, homophopbic, xenophobic etc.Actually, it is they who practice identity politics in every way
Glad you are ashamed of your comment👍

I was merely pointing out the fact that ,that of which Gracepoole acussed the Republicans is actually a more apt description of the Dems. Also when I say Dems I am referring to the powers that be in Washington so before you accuse me of impugning the character of Dems across the board ,that’s not the case.Have a good day
