I have to laugh and take my hat off to Trump people. Trying? What does that mean? Like praying?
January 2019 Pelosi took over at speaker. Before that day, trying meant what? They were powerless.
Trump’s party saw a political issue after Trump fired Comey then had Russians in the Whitehouse on top of everything else.
They got a Trump appointee, Rosenstein, to write a letter to fire Comey. Then Trump went on TV and said the whole information campaign was bogus. Comey got fired because he would not play ball. Not because he was UNFAIR TO HILLARY. THE ALLEGATIONS IN THE ROSENSTEIN LETTER.
The GOP should have conveined a blue ribbon panel. (!AS DERSHOWITZ said back then)That was too dangerous for Trump it seems.
Rather a special counsel. Who had no power to charge Trump no matter the facts and therefore would make no recomendations either.
Mueller starts his first day and the conclusion as to Trump is fixed. The House and Senate hold no hearings about Trump of note. Democrats cannot. So what does try mean?

Note that support in the tracking poll posted means that the respondent support removal of Trump from office: 55% support; 40% oppose.
 
So you admit Pelosi is a liar? She is the one who made the statement, not I. I posted her words, not my interpretation of her words. See how that works?
 
Yet she would agree with me because what I said is irrefutable.
So that leaves what she said having a consistent meaning with what I said. Or she is a liar because it cannot be true in the sense of having power and working for his impeachment.

^^^ This was your original statement. I responded with a direct quote from Pelosi which you attempted to refute. Still you cannot make yourself say someone else, especially a Republican, was correct in what was said. Those are Pelosi’s words, no one else’s.

You can claim she did not say those words with their very clear meaning or you can admit she did. What you are not able to do is change the meaning of Pelosi’s words. There is no nuance, no grey area, it’s all black & white.
 
No. I am not substituting a constellation of fact and reality of Democrats trying to bring Trump down where rational minds agree they didn’t have the power to do it. It is that rationality thing that keeps coming back to stifle all of the creative ideas of neurotic notions of victimhood. The very tactic of the King and Duke, friends of Huck. Royalty and all of its power and winning ways mixed with victimhood. A famous flim flam strategy lifted from the pages of Mark Twain’s great American novel.

I actually know nothing of that story. There is a limit to the contrived soap opera of Trumpism I won’t travel. I am sure it is an interesting story with a Trump / victim theme, but it is surplusage.
