Amusing, but the problem with that is gravity. The earth doesn’t have enough mass to create enough curve in the space-time fabric to trap the sun or the gas giants. Simple as that. objects with less gravity must orbit objects with more gravity. I also cannot in good conscience subscribe to the idea that the solar system and the galaxy in which it resides with countless trillions of other stars within a universe with countless trillions of other galaxies, each having trillions of their own stars were created for the pleasure of, and revolve around the children of Abraham. That was fine for the authors of the Old Testament who didn’t know better, but we do know better. Like the smallest particle in the most remote reaches of the universe, the inhabitants of this planet have their place of equal importance. Nothing less, but nothing more. That does not, however, make us meaningless or mean that there is no God. If the belief that all of creation revolves around you is the only way to get your head around it, then I suppose that’s what you have to do, but you can be realistic and still have complete faith in God. You don’t have to torture plainly established science.
