My guess is that none of us humans (not even the teaching magestrium of the Catholic church) fully understands all that has been revealed to us, let alone all there is to know of God.

BINGO! Exactly why the Magisterium never defines anything even a sixteenth-of-an-inch further than absolutely necessary, why it never defines anything until pressed up against a wall: Not only do we not have all the answers, we don’t have all the QUESTIONS! That’s why the Church abides in the promise that the Holy Spirit will guide her “into all the truth.”

God be with all who have participated here. Thank-you for your kindness in including me in this discussion and for your own (name removed by moderator)ut. May each of you recognize the Spirit’s leading in your life and find the grace to follow.
