Is any TV show immune to the left's agenda?

It’s totally LEFT Wing. No doubt about it. The people I know in Hollywood have seen it up close.
 
The Catholic Church was at the forefront, starting in the 1930s. It tried to engage with Hollywood. Hollywood didn’t listen, so the Catholic Legion of Decency was born.

I encourage everyone to reject immoral TV.
 
It seems that any style comes into then goes out of fashion…only to re-emerge as fashionable once again! Everything from wallpaper to appliances, carpet to furniture. How much are collectors paying for mid century modern these days!

Except shag carpet…I refuse to bring back shag carpet…I have to draw the line there! 😂😂😂
 
TV bores me now, I would try to explore other forms of entertainment.
 
I love TV. I really do. I especially love it with TiVo because we can pause, cut out commercials, run something back that we missed, record programs, etc.–it’s awesome.

We used to record shows onto DVD for our boys, with the commercials cut out. I don’t think we could do that now, at least I don’t know how to do it with the technology changed.
 
It isn’t just TV shows. The parade for the US Women’s soccer team had to become a tired, leftist talking point. Immature women swearing, eating paper, etc. What great examples to young girls! Classless.

And last year, Senator McCain’s funeral had to become a left-wing, passive aggressive Trump attack.

On the sliding scale of Bad Things People Do, that’s pretty far down.

I used to eat styrofoam when I was little and I turned out okay 😏
 
Paper and styrofoam are much better than the dirt and bugs I ate as a child. I’d even dig in moms houseplants to get my dirt fix! 😂😂😂

Meghan McCain would be surprised to hear that is what her father’s funeral was.
When everyone who has the audacity to criticize the President or even to praise virtues he spurns is automatically dismissed as left-wing, the ranks of the left will of course swell to include families such as the Bushes, the Romneys and the McCains. That’s when it is fair to ask if there isn’t demagoguery afoot.
It could just be instead that the day a hero who made sacrifices for his country is laid to rest, those who thought pursuit of their own political gain justified denigrating his service to the county are going to be left with the shame to bear that they deserve. When there is no shame for shameful conduct, the load is heavier.
Just for the record: Not everyone who believes Donald Trump is a poor excuse for a President belongs on the left side of the political spectrum, nor are they pro-choice nor do they have any other covert left-wing agenda. The fallacy that all of those who somehow “deserve” to be regarded as conservatives must support Donald Trump is one that needs to be challenged, strongly and often.

Do you get this upset when male athletes swear or act out? Or is purity not a virtue that is important to model for young men? Do all well-known athletes not model for all young athletes, regardless of their sex? I’m no great fan of giving athletes or any other flavor of entertainer some kind of political authority based solely on their fame, but I really bristle at the idea that coarseness is somehow OK for young men or that only young women could possibly find inspiration from famous women. That is not what our faith teaches (and it is NOT left-wing feminism to imply that all those who model virtue do so for all).

If someone wasn’t able to see through the veiled anti-Trump remarks during Senator McCain’s funeral (I mean, how disrespectful to use a man’s funeral as a political attack on the President), then I feel sorry for their lack of comprehension. People like that need many prayers.

Here’s the thing with the women athletes, the last couple of years we keep hearing about “toxic masculinity,” how women are above the fray and supposedly more civilized and centered than men. . .but then, when women act as brutish and boorish as they claim the men to be, they’re cheered on as heroes and groundbreakers. It’s like anything championed by the left, it collapses under its own contradictions.
 
If by recruit, you mean making children into homosexuals, that’s not exactly true or possible. Indoctrination, normalization, yes, I agree with that. When we are children, TV indoctrinates us in many ways, and it always has done so since the 1950’s. For example, cowboy shows (westerns) always featured the American Indians as the bad guys, savages, and the homesteaders as the good guys. I was raised to see it that way. Same with Blacks: if they were portrayed at all, they had roles as not-too-bright, lowly servants. It was almost as though intelligent or moral minorities did not exist in the mainstream Hollywood of the past. Perhaps a right-wing agenda? No worry, however; Star Trek changed all of that with the first interracial kiss on TV, as well as a racially diverse crew. Left-wing agenda here?

Children are being taught to question their sexual orientation and explore switching genders. Little boys are groomed into "drag’ via drag queen story hours, glorification of “drag kids” performing in adult nightclubs, and trying on drag for themselves.

Children are being encouraged to try on drag for themselves? Are you certain of that? I seriously doubt the recruiting motivation, which is an old canard based on gay stereotypes. Rather than recruiting, gay people’s agenda is to be permitted to live (literally) and function comfortably in society the same as everyone else, without the fear, hatred, shame, and guilt so often attached to their sexual behavior by the mainstream public and themselves. In coping with their own sexual identity, they are least interested in converting others.
