Is Catholicism losing relevance in today's world?

Several unsupported assumptions are made in the OP. Such as over-population. Every human on earth can fit in the state of Texas, with 1000+ square feet for each individual. Do the math. That leaves the rest of the EARTH unpopulated. Flying over it, we can see that it is enormous. The suggestion of overpopulation is motivated by the spirit of anti-life, as is contraception, abortion, euthanasia, SS “marriage”, and all of the other culture rot. But, you can’t see spirits, or the entire world would be Catholic.

In today’s modern culture in which:

1. It is prohibitively expensive to raise children, and the world is becoming overpopulated;
2. We are learning more about gender and sexuality, and we realize that homosexuality is normal in a certain percentage of the population, and therefore there are no longer any secular reasons to deny marriage rights to gay couples;
3. More and more people are acquainted with a gay person and realize that gays are normal human beings, and should not have to suffer from denial of right to marriage;
4. There are no longer any financial incentives for people to stay married or to have children, and it is possible to be financially solvent and successful living alone;
5. Lifespan is increasing and it’s a tall order to remain committed to one partner for life;
6. Postmodernism is the only way to ensure peace and coexistence in a diverse society in which not everyone is Christian;
7. Women have careers and pregnancy is a major impediment to women’s careers;
8. Pregnancy is a form of suffering to women and is a health risk, and women should not be forced to go through it;
9. The Magisterium is no longer trusted because of sex scandal and historical scandal;
10. Denying civil rights to certain classes of people is a form of hate, and societies that have exercised civil tolerance have continued to flourish and maintain high standards of living.
11. It is now impossible to maintain work or business if you do not support gay marriage rights;

Can we admit that Catholic teachings on abortion, sex, marriage, and contraception are losing relevance in today’s modern world?

Yes our world has degraded pretty far since biblical times and much of what you listed above is accurate.

I think the main reason is due to God not really having much interaction in todays world, or at least in the degree he did in biblical times, back then, they literally saw things God did, they saw him call down fire from heaven and destroy 2 cites, simply for sin going on there!!! They saw people just touching Jesus robes and they were instantly healed, they saw other things he did that NO person could do…yet today, this is long forgotten, people today need a wake up call, need to be refreshed in this regard.

Satan obviously recognizes this, as we can see all the things he does in this world, all the strange, unexplainable things that go on, all the ‘methods’ he is trying all over the world, all that is due to him, and he is gaining more and more souls every day!!

God is more powerful than Satan, but it appears Satan is the only one trying to influence people today, trying different approaches, as people today are not the same as people in biblical times, so of course a different approach will be needed.

I mean, if we just saw a few small things that were from God/ Jesus, it would convince alot of people and invigorate 10s of 1000s of people, yet nothing of the sort happens.

So I guess we should not be shocked when all the young people today are turning away from the faith, and instead heading down the immoral path…they dont see anything in it, except for going to mass once a week, praying, and thats about it…Point is, they dont see any results of proof its worth it?? Of course todays young people will not be interested! LOL ON the other hand, satan has managed to create music, art, and other things that actually attract and interest young people of today, so that is what they are choosing…if satan can achieve this, I have a hard time believing God cannot do the same, if he chose to do so.

I have to disagree with you. There are plenty of miracles happening TODAY. Go to Spiritdaily.com and the greatest miracle of all every day Jesus gives himself to us in the Eucharist. There is PLENTY of great and beautiful music, art, literature and other things. You gave the secret away in your answer… it is what they are “choosing.”
It has always been a choice, even from the times of Noah, Sodom and Gomorrah, etc. People ignore the beauty and creations of the Father and CHOOSE the glitter of the devil. Maybe the young people are following in their parents footsteps… or maybe they are making their own choices. I think it’s up to us to show the other side so that it becomes more prevalent in the news and on the internet. Look at CAF! What a wonderful site that can fill up hours of the day!
