I respect your passion in searching for truth,…

… however Scripture says Blessed are those who have believed but did not see… so keep that in mind. May God keep you safe on your travels though. Keep in mind that when you climb Mount Everest, if you make it out alive, you could come back maimed for life. Just a fair warning to you, with charity. Some things you can’t unsee or unknow and to just believe what Jesus says is truly easier and the only thing needed.

Also, you really do not know or have any idea if you’d only come out being “‘a little scared’ of a ‘spooky’ demon for a few minutes” . Have you ever heard of psychological trauma and its effects? You really think if this is real that it would only effect you for a few minutes? I swear to you, if you experienced it to be real and if you are a real ‘thinking’ person as you say, you would have to change your thinking on many many beliefs. Hah, and when you do, people will not think well of you anymore. They’ll think you’ve lost your marbles.

Much easier journey just to believe what Jesus says. But as I said, I admire your spunk and passion… May the Holy Spirit guide you to truth and may Jesus keep you safe.
I appreciate the kindness in your words :).
However, I do understand that if demons decide to torture a person they will most likely do it in horrendous ways. It’s about their will, after all.
I have experienced things that could classify as paranormal. Twice in my life I’ve heard something speaking to me: once in a deep male and distorted voice in my right year, and another time a creepy female voice singing to me right after waking up suddenly and a bit shaken. All of these clearly heard as I would hear another human talking next to me. Or seeing the door getting slowly opened at 1 AM (recent). But they haven’t scared me . It’s interesting to think of, but not scary. I guess they could use the jumpscare tactic, but that would be cheap and weak.
Anyhow, this still isn’t convincing enough. It may be my human obvious weakness and fallibility (my brain’s), but still a starting point.
I felt the need to share these experiences. It’s not like I’m absolutely indifferent to anything supernatural or transcendental. These, among others, are what I would base myself if I believed and I think that is foolish. I admire the character of Jesus, but his image has been gravely modified throughout the ages. I can’t totally trust a being that I know almost nothing about. So…that’s it. :o
