Why or why not?
If we believe in God’s love it must be true.I don’t know how we can say it’s “too good to be true”. Scripture tells us that eye has not seen…etc. We can’t fathom how great it will be.
It’s apparently not measurable by human standards.
Sounds fab though!![]()
Precisely, although some have to suffer far more than others. Their consolation is that they will be closer to Jesus who suffered for all of us but particularly for them.If it isn’t perfect joy with God, it wouldn’t be worth all the sacrifices we must make to go there!
Life with Him and with all those who love Him.Heaven is exactly what Jesus tells us it is. What do you think it is?
What does Jesus say that it is?Heaven is exactly what Jesus tells us it is. What do you think it is?
The only way that could be so is if Jesus were lying about it.Is heaven too good to be true?
Why do you say because there is no time, then there is no feelings or awareness? If there is no time in heaven (or in hell), then existence there is “stasis”. No change, no thinking, no feelings, no awareness, nothing. Just frozen, eternally, forever. Does not sound “too good” at all.
Whatever you believe has no bearing on reality. But, of course you are welcome to believe anything whatever makes you feel happy. Nevertheless, it might be to your advantage to imagine that you are about to take a step, and time “freezes” in mid-step. Your foot will never reach the ground. Your whole action is frozen. There is no change at all. That would be a timeless existence. Why do you say because there is no time, then there is no feelings or awareness?
When you are engrossed in a hobby or activity that is enjoyable…time just flies by as if it didn’t exist…that, I believe is the way time in heaven will be.![]()
I’ve never heard time in heaven described as you just did. “Frozen” in time…Revelation tells of a great multitude before the Throne of Heaven & things going on…no frozen, black & white photo.Whatever you believe has no bearing on reality.
