I hope you like what you see in 40 years…probably less. Stay healthy and take your vitamins. It will be hard to get old and “useless” in the very near future thanks to the “contraceptive” mentality.

I never said homosexuality was all genetic.The fact you think I did shows how much of this thread you read.

I said that homosexuality is in part genetic - and it is - but, in my opinion, ultimately determined by environment. Either way, it’s not a choice and is not unnatural. Snakes eat the young of other snakes, not their own, as a defense mechanism. We don’t need to do that because we are a different species and have other natural ways of dealing with danger. Dogs lick themselves to clean themselves, but we, again, have a different way of doing that.

And I did post one study that showed homosexuality is in part genetic. Please go back and review the twin study I posted. It proved that there is a genetic component, but it also proved that it is not entirely genetic.

And again, there is no way to determine that, not now anyway.
 
Jennifer, I have proven everything I have asserted. You haven’t. I rest my case and end the discussion with that in mind. 👍

If he is still around. One think is certain: gays don’t lives as long as other folks: just like smokers, drunks, and fat people.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was genetic. That would just give some scientific proof that the total depravity of fallen man is genetic which makes sense. It would prove the scriptures right.

Well, it is sin that actually kills. When one submits to sin they are submitting to the illness that causes us to die. People are sinners by nature. Salvation is unnatural. Ths is what gets people confused. We are sinners. Sin is natural for us since the fall of man. God sent his Son to save sinners from themselves and free them from their sin.

If one wants to believe in Christ then they thank God for that gift and try and mold their lives to His word to grow in faith and love each day.

Then folks need to take the planks from their eyes. Maybe I should call for the stoning of people that continually harass me, and then I find out they are on their third marriage?

Agreed. No one should harass you. Everyone has some affliction and natural inclination to evil that must be put aside. There are planks in everyones eyes. We are all sinners and no one is any better than another. In front of a Holy God we all come undone.

God loves us however, not because we are sinners, he doesn’t accept our sin, but he loves us in SPITE of our sin. He gave his son to save sinners from their curse and give them life.

By acting out on the feelings, one’s soul, spiritual will-being, relationships with family. friends and society not to forget killing the ability to see oneself beyond sexual orientation.

Denial of these realities will not produce a life. Ever.

I’m sterile, God saw fit to see I don’t reproduce anyway. I did not sever from my family, they cut me off. Most gays that don’t associate with their family were thrown out and/or disowned, they don’t do the cutting when it comes to family.

I don’t make my sexual orientation a big deal, other people do. They want to know why I am, why I won’t do X, why I don’t go get X for therapy, why I don’t just become straight. Why this, why that, why anything.

Society MAKES us make it such a big deal by not caring about anything else, but who we would want to sleep with and why that is wrong.

I am confused. :confused: You stated that it was your parents after consultation with their pastor that made the decision. Now they have rejected you because of the decision they made?

Huh? No. I rejected the pastor and the surgical assignment that was done to me. They rejected my rejection, so to speak.

The surgery was done in my first two years of life. I don’t even remember it, didn’t know anything about it, just knew I had lots of weird scars. I didn’t know what happened to me until I was 18 or so. I just thought I was gay until I got more of my medical records. I knew something was odd about my downstairs, I mean, I just had to look to see it, but I didn’t really connect any dots until I had internet access
