Is Homosexuality Genetic?

And this is what I have always learned myself. But this only confirms why one is tempted more than another. God knew this ahead of time as well. Psalm 139 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” Yet he gives aus all the same explicit written instructions. “Thou shalt not lie with a male as with a female”. He never said we can’t find the guy next to us good looking. That’s why I keep a humorous approach and celebrate the orientation God has given me without committing the actual act itself.

I never said I advocate the culling of homosexuals. I am prolife from womb to tomb. But once we start testing embryos for their genetic tendencies, and that time is very near, one has to expect that as long as abortion is legal certain people will abort babies based on sexual orientation if a genetic link is found, as they already do gender.

That has not been proven. Correlation is not causation.

Homosexuality is NOT a choice! Huh??? You mean someone, somebody, or some kind of supernatural force took control of your body and systematically made you remove your clothes and your partners and these normally voluntary muscles somehow became involuntary???

Yes, the Church distinctly makes a difference between an orientation and an active consent to behavior, as you’ve pointed out above.

Just a note, gay guys don’t lie with males as they do females. The bible condemns bisexuality, not homosexuality!

That’s from the bible. Gay men do not lie with male as with a female, as gay males don’t lie with females at all, bisexual males do. That quote is indicative of the bible condemning bisexuality, not homosexuality.
