Is it ok to listen to Dr Taylor Marshall?

Often I go to YouTube, and Dr Marshall pops up. He seem anti Pope Francis.

He just pops up?

Anyway, one way to approach discernment of anyone such as Taylon re: Francis - is to discuss their meesage = and search for evidences (or not) to support their contention… so as to determine - whether or not what they contend is T or F

People listen to TM perhaps for the juciy speculative stuff that often we hear in his shows as well

I suspect there are those that do. I am not much into juicy speculative stuff. I trust God will take care of His Church as He said He would so I don’t usually care for juicy speculations.

I started listening to Mr. Marshall long ago before he had his youtube channel. I found the Bible and Catholic teaching podcasts and The New St. Thomas Institute very imformative and interesting.

As far as the youtube videos it depends on who he is talking with and what they are talking about for me to listen or listen all the way through.

I’m not sure about stooping to a new low but rather I think TM was unfortunately and wrongly following many opinions a lot of other people had about the incident, if it can even be called an incident. I was surprised to hear people who otherwise never talk about the Church ask me, “did you see what the pope did?” like it was so horrible.

Everyone has moments when they get upset. I know I do.

Not too derail the thread but IMHO it was more of the surprise pull of the popes arm that got him upset. At his age, that had to hurt. We also have no idea how hard she was pushing into his hands. Did she have fingernails poking him…

A little understanding was needed.

What exactly did he say that bothered you? I listened to that episode and I don’t recall him attacking Pope Francis for what happened.
