I’m assuming everyone got punished. I’m talking about going forward.
Everyone involved will still have primal erogenous urges that I can’t discipline away. So how do we prevent 2.0?

Soldiers are disciplined regarding their eating habits, sleeping habits, exercise habits and everything else. Again, the idea that they can’t be disciplined regarding their sexual habits is ridiculous.

As a woman myself I’ll also say this.
If I ever get married, for my sake and my children’s sake, I need a husband stronger than I. I need him to be in this position. Why? Because I tend to steamroll things myself. I’m argumentative and forceful myself. Perhaps there is something I am missing. I could be swept up by my competitive nature or too stubborn to admit I am wrong. If my husband is not stronger than me, then he’ll let it go to the wayside not necessarily because of the strength of my arguments, but the force of my personality. Perhaps I’m arrogant, but even if we were equal, I’d probably win. Equal footing makes for a delicious defeat.
But suppose I don’t. In which case, since we’re equal, we’re tied and stuck. What are we going to do to break it, flip a coin? Are we going to leave decisions like where the kids will go to school based on a coin flip? That’s absurd.
No, he must have the final say. It is his role given to him by God himself, and he will answer to Him should it be intentionally faulty or careless.

Back in my day, it didn’t happen because they had to bunk separately. Knowing how we talked about girls (just like all other men in their late teens/early twenties), putting females in an army barracks is like setting off fireworks at an oil refinery.

It’s not that simple and you KNOW it.
In combat, I’m trying to survive. There is no greater drive than the drive to survive.
But outside of that, there are few drives stronger than sex. Particularly in young males.
This is not “news”.

Another reason for higher violence among males is intelligence. Although men and women have the same average intelligence, men have higher extremes. There are more male geniuses as well as more male idiots. Hence, the not so clever males resort to criminal activities, violence etc.

Also, woman have to be more empathetic because they have throughout our evolution been the ones who have primarily dealt with children. As such, their biology is naturally more suited to traits such as agreeableness compassion etc.

Though human history, when women have been in charge, there was little / no examples that show women would be “more peaceful.”
The only difference is that female leaders tend to be more covert with their assassinations, attacks, etc.
