I say not. I say compare almost any of these female rulers (eg Cleopatra) to her male counterparts (Julius Caesar, Marc Antony and Octavian/Augustus) in terms of bloodshed and warmongering, the women are mostly very minor league. Cleopatra’s only real battles were Actium (which she ran away from) and a fight with an asp.

Good questions opinion only.>> Woman are clever and can be very shrewd can they not? They have claimed many Thrones, started many wars, even conquered Nations, some have come to be known in their time, as being a strong force NOT to be reckon with?>> but some woman rulers, never shed a drop of blood themselves, got others to do their real battles, let others shed their blood and do their warmongering. One can have Greater Strength, Greater Power Intellectually, which is greater then any physical power, is it not?

And this is a Fact, A reality without Woman>> there would be no Pilots, Teachers, Sciencetist, Drs, Lawyers, Labors, Astronauts, Inventors, Philosophers, Theologians, Police, Firemen, Nurses, Fishermen, Electricans, Masonary, Family, etc >> Citizens and without Citizens there would be no Nation?

Woman bring forth Any Nations Greatest Treasure, Wealth and Prosperity, God has choosen to come through the WOMB>>of a Woman>> A Child !! Peace 🙂

The author also echoes one of my biggest criticisms of today’s feminism, which is that it greatly inflates the extent of men’s “violence” against women, finding it where it doesn’t exist and portraying it as inherit to “Patriarchy” and the “suppression” of women. Feminists frequently lie about violence to support their cause, and the influence within society is poisonous.
Feminists reason that women, as the victims of systematic and universal oppression, are entitled — perhaps obligated — to struggle against all of its protean manifestations, notably the ubiquitous instances of men’s violence against women. … According to many feminists, all of these forms of violence and more may be traced to the patriarchal family and patriarchal religion, which together share primary responsibility for imprisoning women within constrictive social relations and demeaning interpretations of female nature.

You can’t control what people think, but you can definitely control what they think about. So much ink has been spilled over questions on feminism. That’s because everybody feels they’re qualified to speak. But you see, after 259 posts, we are nowhere. It makes a strong case for Catholics avoiding these sorts of topics. We should really never discuss questions like: stay at home mother vs. working mother, should we have women in combat roles? Is the man the head of the household?

We should confine ourselves to questions like, “What have you done to make water more accessible in Africa?” Suddenly, we’re not qualified to speak. And honestly, I am not. I’ve wasted my time in life discussing stupid questions about equal pay for equal work, which can take hours to unpack, when meantime, somebody was experiencing an insanely “unequal” lack of water.

You see how the elites keep us from changing anything important? Universities have created stupid, picky people like me, trained to notice any minor injustice, when really I should have been practically working towards tangible solutions to life’s problems.

All of these questions matter, though. How are we supposed to deal with them IRL if we can’t talk about them?
 
I think she means maybe each person should just do what they feel is right in their hearts and for God?
 
What she means is that do what you feel brings you closer to God and focus on what really matters in life, let’s not make a fuss about who’s the head of the household, let’s find a way to put a roof over those who have no household
 
These questions matter only to people who’ve been trained to believe they’re important. Each family comes up with their own solutions when it comes to stay at home vs. working mothers. We don’t need women in combat roles. But if they want to, fine. And each family decides who makes important decisions on what matters. Theoretically, I might believe a man is the spiritual head of the household, but he can be corrected, just as we can correct our priests too. So, six of one, half dozen of the other. Even if by some stroke of luck theAmazingGrace is correct, it won’t matter. People will do what they think is correct. Give your feminism a rest, and you will find life becomes far more pleasant. It’s a tool by the devil to keep us away from making real changes.
