- Jesus accepted adoration (Matt. 8:2; 28:9; Mark 5:6), of which Peter, Paul, and Barnabas - and even the angels in the Apocalypse - declared themselves unworthy.
- He is superior to all creatures: greater than Jonas, than Solomon, than David, than Moses, than Elias, than John the Baptist; and He is superior to the angels, who are “His angels” (Matt. 24:31).
- He demands with regard to Himself, faith, obedience, and love, even to the abnegation of any contrary affection and to the sacrifice of one’s life.
- He spoke as the supreme Lawgiver, in the Sermon on the Mount.
- He performed miracles in His own name.
- He claimed the power to remit sins and has conferred this power on others.
- He claimed the power to judge the living and the dead of all human generations.
- He promised to send the Holy ghost, and His promise was accomplished on Pentecost
Jesus can claim these rights and powers only if He is not merely God’s envoy, the Messiah, but God Himself. He affirmed His Godhead only in a veiled manner in order to prepare souls little by little to receive a more explicit affirmation, which was to become increasingly clear and powerful up to the moment of His condemnation to death.

Are you saying that Jesus is Nike, the god of Victory? Or that Nike is God?
OK…I’ve been recommended to read the book, but I didn’t know that God is a woman (??). Now I’m suspicious. Thanks for the info. The poster referenced that we need to read the shack. Although I haven’t read it yet, it is on my summer reading list.
The book is supposed to be a very good read, but some of the theology is a little questionable, especially the part where God is a woman.I hope I’m not confusing stories.
Yes He is God.It seems that you have the correct answer already: Alpha and Omega means Beginning and End: Jesus is Eternal, in Him there is no Beginning and no End–that’s why God can state to Moses that His Name is “I AM.”
I think your problem is mixing non-Christian religions with Christ; non-Christians desire that Christ be seen only as a man with some special abilities. Christians must accept only that Christ is God.
I find that the worst thing a Catholic can do is saturate his/her mind with “intellectualism” rather than his/her Faith.
Study the Sacred Scriptures intently and begin a prayerful life; as you stay away from anti-Christian teachings the Holy Spirit will aide you in your quest for the Truth; the Holy Spirit does not reveal God’s Mysteries simply to satisfy our curiosity!

I heard its a really great read. Just don’t let it affect your theology.OK…I’ve been recommended to read the book, but I didn’t know that God is a woman (??). Now I’m suspicious. Thanks for the info.

ohhh. yeah. i will just answer by other way, just check this out iglesianicristo.ws/ and find “The True God Never Became Man”When Jesus had said this, he raised his eyes to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Give glory to your son, so that your son may glorify you, just as you gave him authority over all people, so that he may give eternal life to all you gave him. Now this is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
This is interesting. How do you claim that this disputes the claim that Jesus is God? What does John say in the first chapter of his Gospel.
***In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… ***And the Word became flesh.
Hahaha, can you read or understand?
Jesus is God, Jesus is man. What’s the confusion?
If it means re-writing the Bible and/or Christian History like I suspect it will, then why should I even worry about heretical works?ohhh. yeah. i will just answer by other way, just check this out iglesianicristo.ws/ and find “The True God Never Became Man”
i think this would be interesting to you and to others! woaahh. because if i will explain it to you one by one, i think i will be finished tomorow! just if you have time. and if you are desperate to prove that jesus is the only one true god. that because only of miracles that jesus had done, then many will believe that jesus is god? or the father? how about moises, is moises a god also because of the miracles he had done? …and even others in the bible that done miracles, are they gods?? hahah well, i am not surprised that your church maybe have statues or pictures of jesus and even saints that you are worshipping…
another evidence… can you explain what is in luke 10: 21-22?? hahaIf it means re-writing the Bible and/or Christian History like I suspect it will, then why should I even worry about heretical works?hahaha
Read me, Read the below! Here are some quotes where Jesus himself declares that he is god! Hope it won’t be too hard for you…another evidence… can you explain what is in luke 10: 21-22?? haha
i wish this may not be hard for you…
**21At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.
22"All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."**
ok?
i wish you would not say that jesus is talking to his self or he is facing at a mirror. (huh?? haha) he is talking to the father/god, the almighty… how can you say that jesus is the true and only one god? hmmmm… jesus is a man, yes! but not god…
Well, we start with the fact that Jesus is a Jew and go from there. How else would a Jew reveal God except by behaving like a Jewish prophet? The gospels show us a Jesus who gradually reveals his true identity. Even the pagans grasp the idea of gods walking among them. Jesus, however, reveals himself as a man whose relationship to the ONE God of Israel is that of son to a Father, that we must aim at a relationship like his, another evidence… can you explain what is in luke 10: 21-22?? haha
i wish this may not be hard for you…

are your statements… contradicting… right?Read me, Read the below! Here are some quotes where Jesus himself declares that he is god! Hope it won’t be too hard for you…
To be continued…
- Matt. 4:7; Luke 4:12 - Jesus tells satan, “you shall not tempt the Lord your God” in reference to Himself.
- Matt. 18:20 - Jesus says where two or three are gathered in His name, there He is in the midst of them.
- Matt. 26:64; Mark 14:62; Luke 22:70 - Jesus acknowledges that He is the Son of God.
- Matt. 28:20 - Jesus said He is with us always, even unto the end of the world. Only God is omnipresent.
- John 5:18 - Jesus claimed to be God. The Jews knew this because Jesus called God His Father and made Himself equal to God. This is why Jesus was crucified.
