Not sure why you think he has experience or wisdom. The shark avatar alone suggests otherwise.
I did not realize two posters had said the same thing. I only caught @(name removed by moderator)'s reference.
Nevertheless, it sounds to me like you are saying that once you have hardened your heart, its OK to blithly continue to pass judgement on people with no obligation to justify your current opinion…
I cast no judgement on any person. Blithe means, “showing a casual and cheerful indifference considered to be callous or improper,” or “happy or joyous.” I do not know where you get any sense of cheery spirit.
While not judging people morally culpable (that is the meaning of judgmental-ism), it is perfectly necessary to evaluate, judge if you will, rather a person, or in this case a non-person, is reliable. If I were firefighters’ supervisor, I would have to evaluate if a each person was fit for the job in order to keep all alive. When it comes to news, I have to evaluate whether a media outlet, blogger, or individual, is competent in telling the truth.
“Hardened you heart” is a phrase that the Bible uses for sin, and its use here is inappropriate. Yet I do not accuse you of being judgmental, just of using a poor choice or words. Even then, I do not keep my opinion unchanging, I just do not change it quickly when it has been formed over the years and on solid reason. I do not have time, or need, to always re-investigate a site (NCR or LSN) every time they release a new story. If over the years I notice a change, I am willing to change my opinion of them. This is something I think the young struggle with more than the older people. What is perceived as stubbornness may be an efficient mental process.
