He didn’t reject Catholicism. He was Orthodox.
The sad thing is, he probably knew that already and just hoped you wouldn’t notice.

Definitely.Yeah I forget which site I first read this on but it’s a good point. We have to make sure to be prepared to make the Church the FIRST home for Muslim converts (even above their “real” home) because their family and any close aquaintances they had before are most likely going to forsake them or even worse. I’ll say one thing, anyone who took this step deserves major kudos for courage!![]()
perhaps = probably, here.Definitely.
I usually give the link but perhaps the site would get retribution.
But you need to be more carefull when converting any Hindu to Christianity, nowadays. Remember what Hindu did with Australian Christian missionary in India not too long ago?We have to make sure to be prepared to make the Church the FIRST home for Muslim converts (even above their “real” home) because their family and any close aquaintances they had before are most likely going to forsake them or even worse.
Maybe, I dunno. What does that have to do with this?But you need to be more carefull when converting any Hindu to Christianity, nowadays. Remember what Hindu did with Australian Christian missionary in India not too long ago?
Chop of his head?But you need to be more carefull when converting any Hindu to Christianity, nowadays. Remember what Hindu did with Australian Christian missionary in India not too long ago?
Dear Eden:fredomm is fond of showing examples of Christians who “converted” to Islam. Unfortunately, Muslims who move in the opposite direction are fearful of openly sharing their conversions
She is clearly a loony bin and they are making fun of her. You had to find an obscure newspaper from Ireland from 1988 to attack the Bible? And as a response to the article about the fear converts from Islam feel? That’s stretching it a bit, don’t you think?Will this increase sales!? I am not going to give you references so you will have to go and read it yourself.

“Conversion to Christianity is a highly controversial issue in India. In January 1999, Australian missionary Graham Staines and his two sons were burned alive, allegedly by Hindu fundamentalists who accused Staines of converting tribal peoples.”

Meanwhile, speaking from Baripada in Bhubaneshwar, Gladys Staines, widow of Graham Staines, send out a biblical message of forgiveness. “I have forgiven the killers and have no bitterness, because forgiveness brings healing and our land needs healing from hatred and violence. Forgiveness and the consequences of the crime should not be mixed.”
Dear Eden:You left out this part:
She is clearly a loony bin and they are making fun of her. You had to find an obscure newspaper from Ireland from 1988 to attack the Bible?..
That’s stretching it a bit, don’t you think?

I hope this link is not an “an obscure newspaper”.
Ms McGregor denied reports that the move was prompted by concerns the Bible might offend non-Christians… The truth is that the secularists behind this vindictive move are not worried that people might catch MRSA from bibles. They are worried they might catch Christianity, and with good reason. The Gideons, who place the bibles, told us they have testimonies from people whose journey to faith started with a curious peek into that bedside Bible.
