Yes I read the link and there is nothing in the article which says the Koran states that Jesus is God or that Muslims believe Jesus is God.
I don’t know what you are because your profile simply states n/a so it seems you are ashamed to tell us if you are Christian, Muslim or whatever.

I repeat my question to any Muslims in the thread. Do Muslims believe Jesus is God?

Do you understand what divinity means with regard to Jesus. It means Jesus is GOD. Muslims do not believe he is God and the Koran makes it very clear that Jesus is only a creature and not divine.
Very easy to clear this up. This question is to any Muslims in this thread. Do you believe Jesus was a creature (i.e created by God) and a prophet only or do you believe Jesus is God?

Have you stopped to Read Post 59, and its Definitive Koran teachings on Jesus: answering-islam.org/Shamoun/messiah.htm
The Koran 7 Times calls Jesus the Messiah! Has an entire chapter on Mary, and the Virgin Birth of Jesus.
Your ideas also Conflict with Catholic Church Teaching. Quoting one mistaken source just strengthens the falseness of your Opinion.

Ever thought how much You, or My Opinions are worth? :twocents: Unless we share Proper Reasoning and documentation as has been done by many, Especially Post #59 above yours. 🤓 :tsktsk:

If you don't have time to read, It means in the Koran that Jesus Is God. Here are the disertationals on what The Word Means: [SIGN] Yet, in S. 4:171 we are told:
“O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the Son of Mary was a messenger of Allah, and His Word (Kalimatuhu), which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him (Ruhun-Minhu): so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not ‘three’: desist.”

This verse, while stating that Jesus is but a messenger of God, emphatically states that He is the Word of God since the phrase Kalimatuhu refers to God’s very own personal word. This passage also affirms that Jesus is a Spirit from God, which we will expound upon later.

To further substantiate the fact of Jesus being the word of God, we quote from Muhammad Ayub’s book, The Quran and Its Interpreters, vol. II. The House of Imran:

Tabari, an Islamic scholar quotes on the authority of Al-Suddi a debate between the Christians of Najran and Muhammad in which Muhammad was asked what he thought of Jesus, to which he answered: “He is the servant of God, His Spirit and Word.” (p.184)

Another scholar, Sayyid Qutb, stated that “Messiah” is an alternative expression for the “word, but in reality he (Jesus) is the word.” (Ibid., p.151)

Dr. Hasbullah Bakry in his book Nabi Isa dalam Al-Quran (“Jesus the Prophet in The Quran”) p.109 declares: “The Prophet Jesus is called ‘Kalimatu Allah’ (the word of God) because he is the incarnation of the word of God which was signaled to Mary to bear the Prophet Jesus.”

Both religious communities agree that the word of God is eternally inseparable from Him, since God has always existed with the ability to express His divine will through His Word. This would make Jesus eternally inseparable from God, since the Quran, alongside the Bible, concurs that Christ is the Word Incarnate:[/SIGN]

Only God knows if Muhammed is in Purgatory or not. But it would do you (and him) no harm to pray for him, and I believe it would be a very good and holy thing to do so.

Sailka;
* CCC #841 says that the Muslims are included in the plan of salvation. They have a very demanding religion, and acknowledge the Creator. They don’t totally reject Christ, respect Him highly.
Respect for Christ does not save a man. Unless they believe that Christ died for their sins they will perish in those sins. They must believe.

Muhammed was an evil man who distored Jesus’ truth and killed those who were not persuaded by his doctrine. If he made purgatory, there would be no need for hell.

ashamed?? r u trying to profile me??im not ashamed just didnt get to it. i am a catholic but that means nothing. its how i live my life that counts. and obviously you didnt understand or read much of that article. the Koran mentions that Jesus is the Word of God, he is sinless, sinless because he was born from a virgin mother. adam could be also considered the word of God but infact even Adam sined when he ate the forbbiden fruit, it even states that Mohumed also sined and was asking for forgiveness. but the only two “people” in Gods creation that are without sin is Jesus and the Virgin Mary.
“Hence, Christians do not believe that the virgin birth makes Jesus the Son of God. Rather, they believe that because Jesus is the Son of God he had to be born of a virgin”

According to Anas, the Prophet said, "At the judgment Day the believers will assemble and will say, ‘Let us ask someone to intercede for us.’ They will go and find Adam, and say to him, “you are the Father of mankind; God has created you with His hand, He has taught the angels to kneel before you, and He has taught you the names of all things. Intercede to the Lord on our behalf in order that He may deliver us from our predicament.’ He will reply, ‘I am not the one you are needing. Go and find Noah; He is the first messenger whom God sent to mankind.’ They will find Noah, and he will say, ‘I am not the one you need.’ He will remind them that he asked the Lord about things of which he could have no knowledge, and he would be ashamed to intercede for them. ‘Go,’ he will say to them, ‘and find the Friend of the Merciful [Abraham].’ They will do as they are bid, and the latter will say, ‘Go and ask Moses, this worshipper to whom God has an addressed word and to whom He has given the Torah.’ They will go and find Moses, and he will say to them, ‘I am not he whom you need.’ He will tell them that he killed a man who was not guilty, and that he is ashamed before his Lord. The he arranges for them to approach Jesus, the worshipper of God and His messenger, the Word of God and the Spirit of God. But Jesus will say to them, 'I am not the one whom you need; go and find Muhammad (God bless and preserve him!); he is the servant for whom God has pardoned all sins, past and future. Then they will come to me; I shall go to the Lord and ask Him if he will listen to me. He will grant me my request, and when I see Him, I shall fall down to my knees and remain there as long it pleases Him. Then He will say to me, ‘Look up! Ask and you shall receive; speak and you will be heard; intercede and your intercession will be granted…’”

if im not wrong, in the end it will be Jesus that will interceed for us. what Jesus taught and did is undeniable to Chirstian based religions and Islamic. Just because you say you are catholic that doesnt mean enternal salvation, how many Cahtolic Priests have buggered children? How many evangelical reverends preach for money? How many muslims distort the Koran to purse their personal political beliefs? There is only ONE GOD. Understand that Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. He sits at the right side of God. He is the mesiah, the Ultimate King of Israel. Mohamed is jus the last prophet. Eventhough we (Jews, Christians, Muslims) have a different approach to God, there is only ONE GOD. God loves people who do good, so what good are you doing by insulting the prophet Mohamed? that would be like insulting Jesus, Moses, or Abraham. maybe im wrong, or maybe im right, but i know you are wrong in saying that the Prophet Mohamed is in hell. stop creating a division and let go of your ego.

ignorance is bliss…go get your facts straight, try reading the Koran.

I’m still confused. Did Mohamed believe that Jesus was God and died for the sins of the world?

The Koran is full of ant-Christian teachings. I suggest reading Hilaire Belloc, one of the premier Catholic apoligists, book called the “Great Heresies”. If you don’t know of Mohanned’s violent quest, you have to have your head in the sand or a novice of who he was. Thank God the Chrisians defeted the Muslims in the battle of Lepanto in 1571 or their would be no Christiam faith today.

No, Mohanned did not believe in the diety of Jesus and niether do the Muslims today.

Do you think that Catholics and Muslims worship the same God since they do not believe Jesus is God?

What do you make of these passages in regards to those who reject Christ?

2 Thes 1: 6
For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire,

8 dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

9 These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

It seems quite clear that to reject Christ is to be condemned.

Or take Acts 4:12-- 12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

and John 8:24:
"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

All these passages point to the fact that a person must believe certain things about themselves and the Lord Jesus. Muslims and anyone else who reject Him would be condemned.

im no expert, but muslims are taught to believe in the injil (injeel) which to some islamic experts may well be the 4 gospels, or it might just refer to the teachings, words, actions of Jesus. Muslims believe that Jesus (Know as Isa) will come back to this world to kill the dajjal (anti-christ). For all i know the devil has infiltrated in the church for a long time, creating denominations and confusion, i believe that Jesus is the Word of God. and your question is wrong. there is only One God, the Creator of the heavens and earth, the Creator of Adam, God the most understanding, compasive, merciful, He is also just when He punishes. that is why the koran states that you have to be careful, there are not 3 gods. there is only ONE. you can only reach the Father through the Son. A muslim would not call God, Our Father because they see Jesus in a different way. In the koran it says that those who believe in the Mesiah, Jesus, Jesus will testify for them. in the koran they talk about the road to Allah, the talk about the people of the Book (Torah, Bible, and Koran), believing in one God.
time to find out who went to chruch this sunday, i believe that the sunday liturgy sends the same message to all the churches registered in the vatican,

“Lord, our God, source of all the is good, through the gift of your Son Jesus Christ you have made s capable of sowing the sees of yor life and love. When yo ask for an account of what we have done with our lives, may we hear from our own lips that we HAVE BEEN GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANTS who did much with the little we had, and that we may enter yor lasting joy. Grant us this THROUGH Christ our Lord”

i dont know if im one to get technical about this, but the ambiguity is there, it doesnt not directly say Jesus, our God. I believe they say Lord, not as a godhead but as a title of authority and power, thus Lady of Fatima. (Lord male title, Lady female title).

The Koran or the Book of Mormon, what’s the difference, they are both man made and born from hell.

it is soooo tempting to diss you on your lack of knowledge. the Koran was dictated to Mohamed by the Angel Gabriel. and about your previous post, it was the Vatican that attacked the muslims first for land, money, and power. and the Vatican should have know better than to create wars, cause wars lead to nothing good. Go learn some history. you have no authority to judge who will go to hell. mormon people are decent people. the unity within the family is something we should all learn, the way they worship God and the little details is irrelevant. It boils down to whether you are trying to do good or whether you let evil reign your life. Everyone is born good and evil is the lack of good. if you were to study the life of the Prophet Mohammed he did nothing but teach the word of God, spread the idea that Jesus was born out of the Virgin Mary. Did you know she is the only woman ever mentioned in the Koran, there is a whole Chapter of Her. How do you know that throughout the 2000 years the Bible and the church hasnt been corrupted, changed or altered? im starting to wonder why we go to church on sunday when the sabath day is clearly Saturday. Ive lived in muslim countries for half of my life, and there is nothing bad about being a muslim. if a muslim clearly understand the Koran, rather than a license from God to kill the infidels, a muslim is a great person, i dare say they acknolwedge Jesus more than you becuase they believe in what He said and did. because that is what counts. Allah loves good people. the Passion of Christ directed by mel gibson was done to overwhelm us with historical accuracy, one was by using arameo. in one point while Jesus is talking He says Allah.

Totally false propaganda. :takethat: Try to get an education in facts (like above posts) before you throw Your false ideas at us. The Catholic Church is Truth, Respect. Never Hatred, even evil,. We teach for or against things. Honestly. :yup: 🤓
