Please read this, I smoked marijuana for 2 years, it started off slowly and I began to grow more and more dependant on it, and less dependant on Jesus. Throughout smoking marijuana I felt like there was always a fine line seperating me from Jesus, even when I went to church, even when I did God’s will, I felt like there was something missing in my soul. During the last few months that I smoked marijuana I was smoking the “best” dro, kush, sour diesel, you name it. It was so easy for me to get my hands on but I would have to smoke 4 times a day just to feel “normal”. I gravely missed the feeling of being sober and prayed to God to help me find a way out. One night while I was stoned I opened the bible and began reading, the verses I am about to say made me think of my life on marijuana and why I don’t think it is considered, even though it has seed, a graceful herb bearing plant. If might not mean anything to you but consider it.
Genesis 3:3- But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shal ye touch it, lest ye die.
Genesis 3:4- And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Genesis 3:5- For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Genesis 3:6- And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that is was PLEASANT to the eyes, and a tree to be DESIRED to make ONE WISE, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat…
This is how I feel God spoke to me about the subject, because the words I capitalized are the ones that really jumped out at me. Through many times of falling and trying to justify it I finally stopped smoking marijuana, and have been much happier with my life since, God has a better plan for you and for everyone.
I am sure that the tree could represent anything in someone’s life but that is what it means to me.
