There is no denying that charismatic-style worship is something that protestants do, however the protestant denoms. came out of the Catholic Church (either directly or indirectly) so looking at it for more than a few decades but rather for centuries and centuries, it is Catholic as much as Catholics are Christians (eg. Acts, etc.) If it is truly a gift of the Holy Spirit, then who are we to denigrade it?
The Protestant Episcopal church of the USA (and all anglicans) say the Nicene Creed. Does that mean that that is too protestant for the Catholic Church, too? Many protestant denoms. baptize with the Trinitarian formula, also. Is that protestant?
Now, I prefer the TLM and I prefer any charismatic actions to be outside the Mass, however I’m not the one to decide that. On earth the Pope and the bishops in union with him decide that, but ultimately, the Holy Spirit decides. "You would have no power over me at all if it had not been given you from above; that is why the one who handed me over to you has the greater guilt." John 19:11
