I don’t want to get into a heated debate but I’m anti communist and I wouldn’t pay attention to this guy. I don’t think appeal to authority is a fallacy, again it’s not as simple as logicians of old would make. If you don’t have any authority to speak on a subject then I should weigh that against the claims being written.
I don’t approve of the Chinese government and their oppressive state, but I’m not about to accuse them of bio warfare crippling their economy and not actually doing much damage to us. And then you got Trump in the mix and then again it follows this propaganda of Trump in a hero narrative. I don’t mind the guy is president and probably will get a second term, but I’m not going hail him as some savior or hero everyone is after or conspiring against.
We’ll probably have a recession sometime in the next few years. As someone who worked in finance the market is volatile because it is based on an influx of cheap money by global monetary policy makers. Also, unlike the eighties or nineties it is highly dependent on the international world. So how the average American is doing isn’t reflected in the market.
But again, I’m hoping not to get into a heated debate.
