Is the coronavirus China's revenge on Trump?

I don’t want to get into a heated debate but I’m anti communist and I wouldn’t pay attention to this guy. I don’t think appeal to authority is a fallacy, again it’s not as simple as logicians of old would make. If you don’t have any authority to speak on a subject then I should weigh that against the claims being written.

I don’t approve of the Chinese government and their oppressive state, but I’m not about to accuse them of bio warfare crippling their economy and not actually doing much damage to us. And then you got Trump in the mix and then again it follows this propaganda of Trump in a hero narrative. I don’t mind the guy is president and probably will get a second term, but I’m not going hail him as some savior or hero everyone is after or conspiring against.

We’ll probably have a recession sometime in the next few years. As someone who worked in finance the market is volatile because it is based on an influx of cheap money by global monetary policy makers. Also, unlike the eighties or nineties it is highly dependent on the international world. So how the average American is doing isn’t reflected in the market.

But again, I’m hoping not to get into a heated debate.

Anyway, I should not have responded to some remarks, I really didn’t mean to make this about Trump but about the Coronavirus.

The Coronavirus doesn’t seem natural.

We in the USA are in this place today but what about in 2 weeks?

The story just seems to go along with the Conspiratorial side and though, I’m not into Conspiracy, wild theories seem possible. Maybe this virus somehow got out of the lab. That seems possible.

As I heard an MD say, “there is nothing natural about this virus”.

What happened to all the protesters rioting in China?
That was just in Hong Kong, but it has pacified them a little bit. I just don’t really see any reason to believe this was deliberate besides the recent rise in Sinophobia from every political persuasion in the US. It won’t affect the US election at all, believe me. The virus just isn’t deadly enough.

The Coronavirus doesn’t seem natural.
Americans have just been skid across the Democrat odyssey to impeach President Trump. It IS natural to be hyper sensitive.
We in the USA are in this place today but what about in 2 weeks?
We can only speculate. God only knows. You know that. One day at a time at this point. I advise people to take breaks from the media if the situation is getting to them. Breath…pray.

People need to carry on.
I don’t approve of so many cancellations.

I am also wondering what is happening to tthe balance of life with so many disinfecting measures.

There are 3 people in my state (NJ) who have tested positive for this Coronavirus and are awaiting confirmation from the CDC. Several others are being monitored.

One patient, who is 60 years old, is right here in my town and in the hospital right down the street from me, only a minute’s drive away.

Prayers for this man and all those sick with this virus and for the all nurses and medical care teams throughout the world who are treating and caring for all who are sick with this virus.

My mom is 92, I’m 70 and my sister and her husband are in their early 60s. I did a lot of prep shopping and will be careful and stay inside except when I must go out.

Looking at the economic damage being inflicted on the United States and the world, one cannot dismiss the possibility that the rapidly-spreading coronavirus is China’s revenge on America for President Trump’s trade war.
An uncontrolled rapidly spreading infectious disease doesn’t make for a containable weapon doesn’t work very well to target a nation within a world where there continuously moving around the world.

Well, I have COPD and I already use hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and wash my hands a lot anyway because of the flu. Have for years.

My job requires me to hand people a pen to sign credit card slips and then they hand them back. I also make deliveries to a respiratory care facility several times per week.

Wednesday for example, I did 21 deliveries and all required me handing someone my pen. Twice inside that facility.

Starting tomorrow, I have advised my employer that I will not be walking through the hospital to make deliveries. They are food deliveries and there is a HEPA regulation that prohibits that. Before 9 p.m., I have the customers meet me at the front desk. After 9 p.m. we have to go through the ER entrance and the employees want us to bring the food to them. They know the second and third shift security Personnel are lax about the HEPA regulation and they have got spoiled.

But again, I’m no longer going to do it. Both for my protection and their patients.

Anyhow, I have disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer galore. So I’ll continue to disinfect my pen when I get back to my vehicle as always.

Not too worried about the Coronavirus, but if it shows up here in town I’ll have to rethink weather I want to continue interacting at arm’s length with 20 to 30 people each shift. I get my first social security check in April and taking the risk is simply something I do not have to do at this point.

I don’t think China released this virus on purpose. But I’m not ruling out the possibility that it was an accident at that lab.

Well, I’m high risk. 62yo, smoker, COPD, 50 lbs overweight.

Quitting my job would not be a financial concern at all now that my SS will be starting.

I do need to stop smoking regardless.

I’ve read that many get their ‘stuff’ together only after retirement…exercising, healthy eating and habits.
Seems like now is the time for you.
All the best!
possibility that it was an accident at that lab.
or just nature. We will probably never know for sure.

That is a lot of assumptions and speculation

Worth reading.

We are in uncharted territory. Hard to see what is true, of course, one can watch what is going on in Italy and South Korea. They are probably going to be straight. Sad, Iran appears to be hit hard.

Even Catholic Radio talked about it tonight. Best to see on the side of caution.

And as always, God is in control.

It seems to have a lot to do with the immune system. For years now, I’ve been using some of that Emergen-C (actually the Walgreen’s brand, a bit more reasonably priced). I think that powdered drink is very good for one.

To misquote Apocalypse Now,

I love the smell of a conspiracy in the morning.

BTW, wash your hand frequently. Saying a Hail Mary while rinsing the soap off does 2 things, one, you wash off the germs, two, you 've said a prayer

We spasm when a politician changes position over a period of years. Trump introduced America to change interview to interview. I recall Reagan where his strength was his stability and continuity. There is an entierly different dynamic. The army of people president Reagan acted as chief exec for, pointed and proceeded never considering they would be singled out because they obeyed yesterdays policy. Also, policy priority is based on the size of the potential Trump end zone dance.
As for China, they are in the midst of a terrible economic reality . It is hard to believe it intentional. They are coldly bottom liners.
If, this virus killed off a higher %, that would have a goal CHINESE government is capable of. They entertain ideas like excess citizens.
But this leaves a bad economy and sick to feed. A double predestination they oppose
