These general words appear twice in scripture… what is the difference between the two ?

Then you do not understand.

If you are validly baptized, you have accepted that God’s grace is working in you, and you are a member of the Body of Christ, as I am. That is one aspect of the Church

If you accept all that the Church reveals to you as Divine Truth (which I see that you have not), then Catholics would call you brethren, but separated brethren…still part of the Church.

In God’s time, He will call on you to come to Him totally, so that He can come to you totally… The Eucharist, the Real Presence is the fulfillment of His promise to “,be with you always…”

If we both walk toward the Lord, and follow as best we can in His footsteps, we will be together for eternity as full and fully accepting members of His One, True, Catholic and Apostolic Church… and I know you understand what that One Church is called here on Earth…
Jesus is with me always. He will never leave me nor will He forsake me.

Quite an effective tactic for debate. Very convincing.

Is it not better to have never been born than to know the Truth and reject it? Remind me again of what the pillar and foundation of Truth is? That’s right… not the scripture. Even if you don’t agree with my supposed “interpretation” of an explicit statement, the fact that scripture never calls itself such is your downfall.

Ahh but will you forsake Him?

Before you answer, ask yourself - can you tell the future?

Even St Paul, the Catholic Apostle, asked the early Christians to pray for him that his faith not fail.

What are you talking about? There is no future to be had!

Once saved, always saved!

Hooray for convenience and foreknowledge!

Jesus is the Truth. Know Jesus and you know the Truth. If you dont know Jesus you dont know truth. Do you know Jesus? Have you accepted Him as you Lord and Savior?

Do you know Jesus? If you died right now do you know where you would go? Have you been born again? Jesus says unless you have been born again you will not have eternal life.

Do you know Jesus? Have you recieved Him into your life as Lord and as Savior? Have you been born again?

In your opinion, what does it mean to be born again?
