In our diocese, they will allow children of same sex households to attend the school, with the proviso that Catholic morality will be taught, and the kid and parents are not to try rabble rousing.
How can this be in a society increasingly of working poor? How many families can afford for one parent to not work and to stay home and teach their children?I really think homeschooling will be the wave of the future.
What is in this curriculum? Here in the State of Washington, we are voting to repeal YET AGAIN immoral sex education that MUST by law be taught to kids as young as KINDERGARTEN!!!
Great point, and why it is crucial for there to be funding for charter schools and other private schools, including religious schools. This and this alone will ensure a fair chance for the poor. How can this be in a society increasingly of working poor? No reason that schools should not teach something about the origins and principles of the major world religions. Not as matters to be believed (as might apply in a religious school) but simply as information. But Christians and Jews can’t teach their faith in public school.
Imagine if Mike Pence said he wished Christianity taught in public school.
It sure was.Wasn’t it awkward 40 years ago when “Thou shall not commit adultery“ was explained, and 4 or 5 kids in the class has divorced and remarried parents?
