WHAT!?!?!?? Do you actually read what you post? Seriously i want whatever your smoking 🙂
Yes. Read it again.
Adam S:
If you really do want to learn more - dont mess about on here, go find a priest, most will be happy to indulge you, you can book an appointment for an hour, and put your 2 or 3 questions that you have repeated over and over again on here to him, and see how far you get.
Right. If I talk to a priest, other Romans will not hear the truth, and it will all be hidden… Good idea, no?..
Adam S:
Also, do you mind me asking what denomination you ARE from?
I’ve always heard this question in these Roman forums. People here seem to be very carnal as to ask this question again and again…

Whatever, I am from the Christian Church. Did you hear about this “denomination”?..

In Love,

Oh great - that makes things easier - by Christian, you mean the Church that was formed by Christ, hence the Church built on his rock - Cephas or Peter.

Peter formed the Church which is now known as the ‘Catholic Church’ So you are a Catholic, sorry i failed to realise.

There argument over - sorry about that 😃

Do I have to? Can’t I just try to understand what the Roman Church is teaching and how it is consistent with the Word of God?
In order to understand you’d have to WANT to. You spend most of your posts giving us a hard time because you disagree with Catholic teaching. I really don’t know why you bother because it’s not like you appear to really care about us one way or the other. You impress me as one of those people that just likes to give people who don’t agree with YOUR personal position a hard time.

Face it…we do not believe in Sola Scriptura and that difference is key to your beliefs. Resolve that & Sola Fide and then maybe we can talk. I haven’t encountered any non-Catholic church that does its communion in accordance w/the NT and THAT is key to the Mass.

Question: Have you read ANY of the tracts on this home page? They’re very clear & concise and in line w/what the Church teaches. There’s plenty of evidence that what we believe lines up with the early church. No one else (IMO) is anywhere NEAR that, and frankly w/o the miraculous Eucharist I wouldn’t want to go back to that sort of service. The Mass is more Biblical than anything I’ve seen in all the non-Catholic churches & services I’ve ever attended. ❤️ :bible1: :twocents: :coffee:

So your stated purpose is to evangelize us?

Who says you have the truth?
You don’t even have a complete Bible that has the same books that the early church used. You have no assurance that the Bible in your hand is inspired by God since you have rejected the very authority of the church fathers who defined for us what is the canon of scripture. You do not practice a scriptural communion and if you’re like most non-catholics are lucky to have what you call communion once a month or even annually, which is weird for Bible believers because Acts says that they did that every time they met on the first day of the week. There’s just WAY too many doctrines of men in your belief system for me to ever buy into it.

So no thanks…you got nothing that I want.
*walks away shaking his head at the unkndness and obstinance of some “Christians” *

I like you Church Militant - the arrogance of this Yaq fellow is pretty astounding isnt it??

Pray that one day he will find the truth - you never know it may be through God’s grace that he has come onto these forums to explore - he may bump into something he didnt expect and then itll be conversion time - i converted in a similar way (from atheism) so there is hope for him

Ah, ok. You subscribe to the human authorities over the Word of God. So mention the Father who said that the same Altar which is in Heaven is on earth too.

The Word of God is NOT only Scripture. Where does Scripture say that IT is the only Word of God? I don’t need to be convinced that Scripture is the Word of God, but please clarify where it says that Scripture is the ONLY Word of God.

“Oh that there were one among you who would shut the gates, that you might not uselessly kindle fire on My altar! I am not pleased with you,” says the LORD of hosts, “nor will I accept an offering from you. For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name will be great among the nations,” says the LORD of hosts." So the Altar is not just in Heaven? It is on earth too? Where is that said in the Scripture?
Where is that not said in Scripture?

Where does scripture mention what is scripture?

Where does scripture mention the sinner’s prayer?

Where does scripture say that Divine Revelation has ended?

Where does scriprute say that Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John wrote the Gospels that bear their names?

I asked you before about the deuterocanonicals you said:

YAQUBOS:
By the way: it is not me who have to prove to you they don’t belong in the Bible. You have to prove that they belong! Because the whole Church did never believe they are Scripture!
Well, actually the church majority did decide they are scripture. But why do you base your opinion on a falliable human authority, why not let scripture speak for itself? It’s like you stabbed the church in the back, said thank you, and ripped the Bible from its hands. If you can accepte the authority of the church to determine scripture, then why can’t you accept anything else the church determines?

Church Militant:

Why, we already believe Jesus is Lord? It does not matter if a person follows the 10 commandments or not, once the person believes, he’s saved. Since we already believe, we’re already saved, despite how we’re, “not following the Bible.” At least that’s his opinion.
