I had to tell him to back off because he was wrong… which was defensive but necessary… He wasnt going to let it go, so all I could do was tell him I loved him and wished him peace, which he finally accepted after a lot of patient dialogue on my part…
He sounds like one of my friends who has Trump Derangement Syndrome. No amount of facts or reason will ever change them. Their loyalty is to the Democratic Party rather than to average Americans. I would recommend the avoidance of political discussion with friends and family members with TDS.

Folks, there are some Catholics who actually do believe “Trump is a messiah.”
Yea, and there are people who believe lots of things. Some people believe that the universe caused itself to come into existence and that life was created from non-organic material in some sort of primordial soup concoction.

The hatred for DJT from the left is real
I think they’re under demonic influence. After all, no president has been better to Israel than has Trump. Therefore, Trump is hated the most by Satan and his followers on the left.

Folks, there are some Catholics who actually do believe “Trump is a messiah.” I literally saw this quoted on a Catholic FB prayer group I’m on. I was shocked! And corrected the person for posting such misguided nonsense. So, brainwashing can happen in any mind, no matter political affiliation.
Definitely sounds like a person suffering from delusions, which can happen to anyone regardless of political affiliation. Things like that can be triggered from feelings that are overly intense, both good and bad feelings… I have just personally noticed many people over the past couple of years that are volatile, have anger issues or have crazy theories, due to what seems to be hatred and dwelling on the hatred. Politics have really gotten out of hand.

Sorry, friend, but I must disagree. It is Trump’s party, what used to be called the Republican Party, that has this country headed in a bad direction.
All for the rich, big tax cuts. Driving up the national debt.
The brainwashing appears to be more of an anti-Trump cult.

The Republican party did not support Trump in the primaries or in their usual role as significant donors in the general. Trump was an anti-establishment candidate which equally irritated the wealthy of both political parties. The wealthy Democrats and Republicans (who give to both parties to cover their bets) were quite content with the status quo on illegal immigration and trade deficits. Illegal immigration reduces labor costs thereby increasing profit margins and the burden of trade deficits fall on future generations and always proportionately higher on the middle class. The jobs of the wealthy were not being sent overseas and the resulting unemployment did not affect corporate titans, those whose job is to manage their wealth or politicians.
