I agree with Angel12. Trump is immoral so how can he be good for Catholics? Or any Christian for that matter. He pretends he’s anti abortion but that was only to get the Christian vote. He is a very immoral human being and a poor excuse for a Catholic.

I’m Canadian so people probably think commenting on Trump is none of my business but it is. He is hurting our economy. He won’t budge on the NAFTA deal and even said he’s not going to help any U.S. allies if there is a nuclear war!! I don’t like him and most Canadians don’t like him. I don’t know how any woman, immigrant ( legal) Christian or military could have voted for him. He disrespects and insults everybody.

Apparently that wasn’t the feeling of W Bush and the presidents before him. Under them many illegals came and gave birth to legitimate citizens of the U.S. The children who were either brought here or were born here (anchor babies?) did not commit crime themselves. The parents are a different story.

In any case Hispanics are largely Catholic so Catholics are affected by such deportations.

I would also add his failure to release his tax returns / lack of transparency, as well as his well-documented pathological dishonesty.

I don’t care if they are Catholic, Protestant, or any other religion. If they are felons, they need to go.

Transparency? Where is Obama’s university records? Maybe Trump will release his tax returns at the same time Obama releases his college records.

That’s the point. One felon doesn’t make the whole family felons.

Trump is not, nor has he ever claimed to be Catholic. Even if he is not a good role model, his executive orders, programs, etc. have been good for Catholics. And who are you to say “He pretends to be antiabortion, but that was only to get the Christian vote”? Are you able to read minds and hearts?

Well, there’s this article:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...-him-wanting-to-hang-gays-new-yorker-profile/

That says that Trump said "You’ve wasted all this time and energy on it, and it’s not going to end abortion anyway.”

Trump " reportedly mocked Pence". Another hit piece on Trump. Does it identify who reportedly
said this?

No. Does it identify the person accusing Trump of saying this?

No. I didn’t. I am not interested in fake news. When “reportedly” is in the title of the article, how do I know it is true?

So, you are stating your opinion that it is a hit piece on Trump, but you haven’t read the article? That makes sense.

I already explained why so I must be right or you would have identified the person who is making this accusation.

I’m not sure how me finding amusement that you won’t read the article to find out a question you had about it someone makes you right.
