"In giving assent to the teaching authority of the Church we should recognize the fact that we are giving assent, not to a series of ‘dry’ doctrines decided upon by mere men, but rather to Christ Himself. Moreover, in so far as the Church and Christ are one, this obligation of giving assent also extends to certain matters intimately related to the faith such as the Sacraments instituted by Christ and the ecclesiastical laws by which she governs herself. As St. Catherine of Sienna says, ‘the Church is no other than Christ Himself, and it is she who gives us the Sacraments, and the Sacraments give us life.’(12)
The Catholic Church is not a congregation of people agreeing together, it is not a School of Philosophy or a Mutual Improvement Society. It is rather the Living Voice of God and Christ’s revelation to all people, through all time. It teaches only what its divine Master taught. It is in God’s name that the Church makes the awesome demand she does on the faith of men - a demand that cannot be merely waived aside as being incompatible with the so-called rights of private judgment."
What about the asanas - the postures or physical exercises of yoga? May Christians practise them?
“To that question, the answer is “yes”, but with some qualifications:
Deep breathing is a good thing. The increased intake of oxygen lowers the levels of carbon-dioxide in the blood, and is good for metabolism, and therefore for health. Good posture and physical exercise facilitate improved breathing and blood circulation, and tone up the muscles. So, then, a Christian may do yoga? We did not say that. A Christian may do the breathing and the exercises, but does not need to call it “yoga”. Call it simply proper breathing, and fitness exercising.
When we say we are doing ‘yoga’, there are usually other implications. If we closely question those who are teaching us yoga, we are certain to find that, along with their faith in yoga, they have accepted other beliefs, philosophies and practices which are not compatible with the Catholic faith and Biblical revelation. While trying to improve their health of mind and body through yoga, they have usually assimilated beliefs that endanger their faith and Christian spiritual life.”

Yes, this is correct. The point in the middle is down. LW had a diagram of the Penta-Alpha. Satanists do use an upside down cross and the meaning of it is a far cry from St. Peter's Cross. Demons what people to believe that they can be manipulated by sigils or symbols. There are many texts such as the Goetia that refer to this.
One can see the benefits of Yoga practice from the people here. Someone brought up "infallibility" in regard to statements made by then Cardinal Ratzinger.

In other words, when Cardinal Ratzinger spoke on Yoga and expressed his concerns it was the "Living Voice of God and Christ's revelation to all people, through all time.
It appears that when Church leaders speak some think it is tantamount to stealing candy from a baby and not statements given in the "Light" of Christian Love.
It is not "Pax Christi" but some have the attitude of "Pax Anti-Christi" as they clearly are in rebellion against authority.
It seems people whose opinions reflect strict adherence to Catholic Teachings, in good faith, and to the best of their understanding will be hated because the world hated their Master, Jesus Christ, and surely if they hated the Master, His servants will be hated.
Basically you are not going to get any support from the Vatican in regards to the practice of Yoga.
