and still no answer…
SO how was she pregnant by God?**I already answer your questions which are very simple.
Who Jesus’s father?
Let me Jesus himself answer it for you:
“I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and your God.”.
So the Father of Jesus and our Father is same, as we all are children of God…good and bad.
But by ‘father’, if you mean biological father, then Jesus’ father is the one who was also the father of First UNIQUE Man of whole Universal History–Adam-- without him the “Mother of God” would not have came into being as we know she came.
What traits did he (Jesus) inherit from his father?
Same traits Adam inherited from his “father”.
See? Was it so difficult to figure it out by yourself?
**
**Incarnation of the UNCREATED God, became your brother? What is this?
If Jesus was incarnation of same The Father** then as per, Jesus’ words:* I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and your God.", *we too are incarnated ones regardless of whatever channel we are born through. Because whoever Jesus’Father is also our Father according to Jesus.
No, we are brothers by adoption.
Yes, I am aware that Muslims have trouble with the concept of adoption, given that Muhammad had abolished it to get his hands on his adopted son’s wife. As Angelos excellently pointed out, the “Mothers of the Faithful” were not their mothers. Think of it that way.
If you speak Arabic, God is our Ab, but not our waalid.
Without Father no one can come into being, whether thru reproduction or test tube or cloning or for the first time like Adam and Eve.
Did you bother to check the dates for the Douay Rheims and the NEW (hint, hing) as to what was “changed.” “begotten” was dropped in the latter, not interpolated in the former as you suggest.**Just have a look at the game of words played even in two different Catholics’ Bibles:
John 3:16
(as per Douay Rheim Latin Vulgate Bible)
16 For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son**; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.
But now in an another Catholic Bible (called New American Bible):
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.”
See the game? "his only begotten Son" ; is changed to “his only Son”, …Why?
Because the “only begotten son” of the Father was developed in the 4th century. Actually Jerome interpolated it into the Latin Bible to refute the claims made by Bishop Arius and his associates that Father alone was really God and Jesus was made (created) and not begotten.
Btw, what’s up with you all with the font colors? No, we are brothers by adoption.

No. We are not by nature sons of God, but by adoption, which takes place only through baptism in Christ, the Only Begotten Son.
Assuming that Jesus was “only begotten son of God”, then please explain: Who performed begetting act in order to be called begotten son of God? Do you mean it was performed by God or? And where was Jesus before this act of begetting? Not existed right?. There were only TWO persons at that time? But since Nicean Creed tells us that Jesus and his the Father are of same substance and if Jesus is co-Eternal with the Father then before begetting, there was no such thing as Trinity. It clearly shows there is no such thing as Trinity.
You mean there was no time difference between the father and the son. Both existed at the same time, through eternity? Then the father rmay not have had to beget Jesus because he was already existing along with the father.Btw, what’s up with you all with the font colors?
I am a father. I may have lived 29 years before I begot, but I was not a father a moment before. As the Son is “Eternally begotten of the Father,” Jesus the Son of God was eternally the Son, and there was never when He was not, and the Father is eternally Father. There is no “act” anymore than God being all seeing or all hearing involves Him having eyes or ears, or an act of sight or sound. The Trinity is eternal, actually outside of time.
Clearly you don’t know what you are talking about.

Yes, Jesus accentuated that He was the only begotten of the Father by not saying “I ascend to OUR Father and OUR God”.Btw, what’s up with you all with the font colors? When Jesus said “I ascend to my father and your father, my God and your God.” That made you all brothers of jesus because your father was same. Did Jesus specify that He was the begotten son while others were only adopted sons.
Here we go:**
I don;t believe Jesus ever said that he was the begotten son of God. Could you show anything in support please?**
I think several verses on theis have been posted for you before, so I’ll just limit it to this:I don;t believe Jesus ever said that he was the begotten son of God. Could you show anything in support please?
**Aaronjo, Raul, Happyday, rational, counsel, Marysee … in short: a multiple face Muslim poster whose only job is to hijack a thread and evade the questions through digression. You deserve a medal for your efforts LOL
It seems that you cannot get any help from your own scripture (Mohammad’s Koran) to answer ralphinal’s questions. This is why you pathetically refer to some Bible verses and pervert them by ignoring the context. Very weak.
Some Muslims should stop representing ALL Muslims since the dishonest acts and foolish assertions of those Muslims are inevitably attributed to Islam.
**You are using a typical Muslim dodge. You are not quoting the verse before your cut and paste. They were going to stone Jesus for blasphemy for saying he was the Son of God. He is asking how it is different when he said it. They go on to say they do not want his miracles.
Jesus said he was the son of God. HE also said he would die on the cross and rise again. He also said that he and the Father are ONE. ONE. ONE. Jesus told us that when we see him, we see the Father. It is through Jesus that we are adopted sons of God.**
The people who were going to stone Jesus were enemies of Jesus. They can lie too and they did lie. No? Ofcourse yes. So same kind of people preferred Jesus the Son of God** over Jesus the Son of Father (Barabbas) when it was asked who really deserves to die through crucifixion?
It seems, unknowingly you actually are with those criminals. You trust them and not Jesus.
Do you agree with whatever enemies of Jesus accused him? or you want to go by what Jesus said and explained clearly in John 10 (23-30) where he refuted their allegations by even quoting their/his Holy Torah (“You are gods”) which cannot be broken?
The reason I quoted only that part was to show where and how Jesus quoted “Ye (Jews) are gods”. assuming you know/will know the context eventually because it was you who asked me who said it.
Is this all you can say? LOL**
This is all you got to say? lol
My answers (addressed towards people like you) were indeed and basically based on the Bible/Biblical langauge because to me you have not understood your own Bible properly first, let alone Islam/Islamic scriptures.**
This is a weak and ridiculous argument (not surprisingly coming from the essentially faulty Islamic reasoning!)**

I agree with those Jews that Jesus claimed to be equal to God! Thus, they understood Jesus perfectly well when He claimed to be ONE with the Father. However, I disagree with those Jews that Jesus was making false claims about His identity and committing blasphemy. Jesus told the truth when He said He was a divine person.**

Let’s read that verse in its context and see how your allegations are rebutted:**

**Thanks angelos, Jesus never said that he was the begotten son of God and youhave failed to show anything. The rest is all made up or drived from your mind. “I and father are one” can have many meanings. Similarly, " I go to my father" is irrelevant. You could not show anything about the most serious of your beliefs that Jesus is a begotten son of God. I am surprised. You had nothing.Yes, Jesus accentuated that He was the only begotten of the Father by not saying “I ascend to OUR Father and OUR God”.
Here we go:
John 10:30
** I** and the Father are one.
Jesus did not say “WE and the Father are one”. Why? Because He is the ONLY Son as the second person of the Holy Trinity.
I did not know that you had difficulty understanding plain English:**Thanks angelos, Jesus never said that he was the begotten son of God and youhave failed to show anything. The rest is all made up or drived from your mind. “I and father are one” can have many meanings. Similarly, " I go to my father" is irrelevant. When Jesus never said that then why did you make it up? I am most interested in the words of Jesus himself if he ever said that he was the begotten son of God. **
**I am so surprised at your understanding that you consider the enemies of Jesus truthfull but not Jesus. Perhaps you do this either unkowingly or you are forced to do, in order to make an argument which is baseless. Those Jews wanted to stone Jesus not because they told lies about Jesus, but because they considered Jesus a liar because of His teaching!!! Jesus ascribed the holy name of God to Himself and said that God and He were ONE. Since Jews did not believe that Jesus was a divine person equal to the God of Israel, they concluded that Jesus blasphemed and deserved to die. This is so simple.
