Islam as a system of life

This thread is strange to me. Christianity is (or ought to be) a complete way of life (dunno if I like the word “system”, but that’s just me). The difference is in what we emphasize versus what Muslims seem to emphasize.

I’m no theologian, but I would think that if your religion is not a complete way of life, you’re in the wrong religion.

Right down to how if a man does the 3x I divorce you, and they want to get back together, SHE must marry another man and actual penetrating intercourse MUST take place, she must then be divorced by that man, after which the original husband and the woman can re-marry?

There is much, much more that has nothing to do with your relationship with G-d and living your life within that relationship that is found in Islam. That is the point of this thread. It controls everything a muslim does as a flesh and blood human being. It has nothing to do with natural law/justice and everything to do with enslavement, power, control and abuse.

No, the “religion” of Islam is a very thin veneer over a complete geo-political ideology coupled with a total control of human behaviour, ie no free will.

Further, this complete way of life is currently destroying the very basis of our civilisation, with the support of our politically negligent and ignorant politicians. They are re-introducing blasphemy laws into secular civil code. The OIC are destroying the UN. It is a complete way of life that is forcing itself onto us and criminalising us, while inciting hate and violence towards us.

People wake up before it is too late.

Maybe I should have been more explicit, because the sort of things you are bringing up are what I had in mind. Islam is very legalistic, as far as I can tell, so it is focused on many things on which we do not focus. I remember that Sister Amy and I once had a short conversation about Muslim bathroom instructions, and what I saw as ridiculous she pointed it out is actually not so self-evident all around the world. So I guess maybe Muslims feel they need to recognize God’s sovereignty over the way that they go to the bathroom (in the same way that they say “bismillaah” and “alhamdulillaah” before and after everything)? I don’t know. I still don’t get it, but that was my point; we have completely different ideas of what it means to have religion guide our everyday lives. Islam is a complete way of life, Christianity is a complete way of life. I prefer Christianity.

Of Course , why not ? Prophet taught us Bathroom etiquette , what’s wrong with it ?

Also , he taught that Eating , sleeping , talking , close intimacy with spouse , taking bath everything can be considered as Ibadah/ worshipping God if u have good intention to please God ; if u thank God for everything He gave u as His blessings etc.

You can say anything from yourself, not from your religion. Because you do not have any religion. Jesus did not leave any christianity. hmmmmmmmmm let me see. In Islam whether a person goes to heaven or hell is predetermined and God is to be feared and you never know if your good works outweigh your bad ones to get into heaven. In Islam where you have to pray in a certain way at certain times and perform certain rituals yet you cannot pray at other times such as sunrise and sunset and you are forbidden from looking up at the sky while praying because Mohammed said if you do your eyes will be gouged out.
Contrast that with Christianity everybody has a chance to go to heaven and it’s not based on predestination or whether or not your good deeds outweigh your bad ones. We can pray whenever we please with no rituals that have to be performed and no restrictions on looking at the sky when praying. Jesus tells us that he did not come for just Jews but everyone. Islam yeah I considered it all right thanks but no thanks.

I brought this up before - maybe not on this thread, but this thread seems appropriate since it is islam as a way of life.

UK muslims polled and 44% don’t want to be Brits.

Now, I don’t trust that number - I think it is probably higher since the koran tells muslims to deceive us.

Why do muslims migrate if they don’t want to be a part of the country they migrate to then.

here again, I have an answer - the imperialistic goals of islam - to not necessarily convert but to subjugate us, to establish sharia laws in our countries.

I have already brought up in different threads that in France alone there are 700 ‘sensitive urban zones’ that basically the government has lost control of.

What we are seeing are the muslims setting themselves up for more battles as we have seen in the Balkans, Israel, the Philippines, Pakistan/Kashmir/India, and elsewhere.

The areas that non-muslims dominate - they demand to be safe and free. While in the areas they dominate non-muslims take their lives in their hands.

Why are these countries allowing this to happen? multiculturalism and political correctness gone astray! People on the left all help this progress along. They want to make everyone feel good while not having a problem at all at bashing Christians, or Jews, or their own and calling them names if they say something about this happening. And these left wing idiots are in the governments, our schools, the media, etc.

When did the left stop fighting for woman’s rights and try to bring to light the abuses of women and children? now they are right along with the ones who practice a religion that espouses that type of behavior and are full into denial/deception that their koran, and sharia laws, all help it along!

I got a letter from Senator Feinstein that a ‘jihad Prevention Act’, HR6975, is being introduced and a requirement that foreign citizens do not advocate instilling sharia laws into our system.

I don’t know about this - it seems that we have a bunch of lamo judges willing to give war criminals our civil rights and trials, and even let them walk our streets when the facts are that the majority of the ones let out of gitmo so far have gone back to jihad. I downloaded it before youtube censored it because many times cowers over the muslim whining and threats of lawsuits. It should just crack open a koran and figure out that the things they censor are ‘right on’!

I have this question - Islam says a man should not be alone with a woman who is not her wife. Why was Mohammad alone with Zainab who was half naked? It could not be an accident because that happened in Zainab’s house. Before he entered he should have asked permission first or whether or not Zainab was alone. Chrisse, any one can make a bad video. I have a book “Da Vinci Code” and a Video too of same title. It is telling that Jesus was surely secretly married to Mary Magd and he had a son from her too.
