Without question, God could very well have granted Muhammed the power to become literate. And if not, He certainly could have got the same message across by using disciples to do the same thing. But that is not the issue. How many times has God called upon illiterate children (Fatima, Lourdes, etc) to send a message to the world? Even Jesus Christ Himself did not call upon the literate to become His disciples. He chose fishermen and common folk.
But never let us forget that Satin pocesses a great deal of power also.
In all my years of studying various religions he doesn’t seem to have the power to prevent people from venerating God. What he does have, in my opinion, is an undying quest to nullify the sacrifce that the Son of God (Jesus Christ) made for all mankind. I may be wrong, but it sure seems that way.
The biggest thing the devil wants us to do is to deny the devinity of Jesus.
When Jesus died on the cross for us, he saved us. This is the one thing the devil would want us most to do, forget he did that for us.
So what does the devil do, create a religion where you think your worshipping God, think your doing Gods work etc, but the most important thing left out of that religion, the fact that Jesus died on the cross for us.
This and the fact there are many things in islam which contradict the teaching of Jesus leads me to think it is a made up religion.
