You know Jay, I was going to say something about Beeno myself 😃 .

I posted a Hadith above and I didn’t understand it, What do you & others posting here make of it?

----> Volume 1, Book 3, Number 128: Narrated Aswad:
Oops! I guess I even spelled Beeno wrong!! (At least you know that means I don’t have any so I don’t need to use it! :D)

Regarding the hadith, I’m not sure. It would appear to mean that Aisha’s family/ancestors were pagans who were still attached to the Kaaba and its pagan rituals and that in deference to her and her family he didn’t dismantle it the way he wanted. What that would then mean in relation to the ā€œholinessā€ of the Kaaba now in Islam, I have no idea. Perhaps one of our Muslim posters can clarify this for us.

He’s trying to get him to prostrate the right way - bringing him to his knees! šŸ˜›

I got all that, **my confusion was with the ignorance/infidelity and the relation to the doors, one in the front and one in the back regarding Aishias people ā€˜pre **islam’.

Any idea?

Yes indeed!

I liked the one, which I already posted, where the Jews questioned mohamad about the visiting ā€œspiritā€, in which again they are testing mohamads prophetic abilities.

Mohomad was silent until he could come up with some sort of added verse to the koran and his followers believed that he was in some sort of revelation mode.

It’s interesting to note that mohamad claims that Gabriel told him everything. But here, mohamad is resting under a tree, a Jew or bunch of Jews approach him to ask him about the ā€œspiritā€ and all of the sudden, whoala, there is a verse.

How come the Jews didn’t see Gabriel when this verse was spoken?

🤷 There is an old Italian saying… ā€œthe fish smells from the head downā€.

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 139: Narrated 'Abbas bin Tamim:

My uncle asked Allah’s Apostle about a person who imagined to have passed wind during the prayer.

Allah’ Apostle replied:** ā€œHe should not leave his prayers unless he hears sound or smells something.ā€ **

How does one ā€œimagineā€ to have passed gas???

Many peolple pass gas which is silent and has no smell.

So, lets add gastronologist to mohamads many talents.

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 142: Narrated ā€˜Ata’ bin Yasar:

Ibn 'Abbas performed ablution and washed his face (in the following way):

He ladled out a handful of water, rinsed his mouth and washed his nose with it by putting in water and then blowing it out.

He then, took another handful (of water) and did like this (gesturing) joining both hands, and washed his face, took another handful of water and washed his right forearm.

He again took another handful of water and washed his left forearm, and passed wet hands over his head and took another handful of water and poured it over his right foot (up to his ankles) and washed it thoroughly and similarly took another handful of water and washed thoroughly his left foot (up to the ankles) and said, ā€œI saw Allah’s Apostle performing ablution in this way.ā€

OCD, my 2 cents on this one.

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 143: Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

**The Prophet said, "If anyone of you on having sexual relations with his wife said (and he must say it before starting) 'In the name of Allah. **

**O Allah! Protect us from Satan and also protect what you bestow upon us (i.e. the coming offspring) from Satan, and if it is destined that they should have a child then, Satan will never be able to harm that offspring." **

 I’m speechless on this one!

Not to mention, OCD (or some other mental ailment) on the part of the person recording this! Who goes around recording the bathing habits of others in such detail?

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 144: Narrated Anas:

Whenever the Prophet went to answer the call of nature, he used to say, "Allah-umma inni a’udhu bika minal khubuthi wal khaba’ith

**i.e. O Allah, I seek Refuge with You from all offensive and wicked things (evil deeds and evil spirits)." **

**

Wait…, you can do the ā€œcall of natureā€ & pray at the same time !!!

But if you are praying and a woman or donkey goes past you, you prayer is not heard???!! It’s null & void!

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 146: Narrated Abu Aiyub Al-Ansari:

**Allah’s Apostle said, ā€œIf anyone of you goes to an open space for answering the call of nature he should neither face nor turn his back towards the Qibla; he should either face the east or the west.ā€ **

So, there you have it! You can only do the ā€œcall of natureā€ facing east or west!!!

These hadiths are getting pathetic.

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 148: Narrated 'Aisha:

**The wives of the Prophet used to go to Al-Manasi, a vast open place (near Baqia at Medina) to answer the call of nature at night.

'Umar used to say to the Prophet ā€œLet your wives be veiled,ā€ but Allah’s Apostle did not do so.

One night Sauda bint Zam’a the wife of the Prophet went out at ā€˜Isha’ time and she was a tall lady.

'Umar addressed her and said, ā€œI have recognized you, O Sauda.ā€

He said so, as he desired eagerly that the verses of Al-Hijab (the observing of veils by the Muslim women) may be revealed.

So Allah revealed the verses of ā€œAl-Hijabā€ (A complete body cover excluding the eyes). **

How convenient!

All of the sudden allah has now revealed such a passage for women to cover up ā€œexcluding the eyesā€.

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 149: Narrated 'Aisha:

**The Prophet said to his wives, "You are allowed to go out to answer the call of nature. " **

I must laugh at this one! :rotfl:

Since does a human need permission to ā€œanswer the call of natureā€???

And mohamad wives needed his approval & permission to do so… pathetic!

Passages like that (in post #143) drive me nuts too, Jakasaki, especially in light of Muslim objections to our Savior’s humanity (as have recently cropped up in another thread courtesy of Planten).

In Islam, Allah takes direction well.

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 152: Narrated Anas bin Malik:

**Whenever Allah’s Apostle went to answer the call of nature, I along with another boy used to accompany him with a tumbler full of water. (Hisham commented, ā€œSo that he might wash his private parts with it.)ā€ **

I guess mohamad could not carry his own wash bucket.

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 155: Narrated Abu Qatada:

**Allah’s Apostle said, ā€œWhenever anyone of you drinks water, he should not breathe in the drinking utensil, and whenever anyone of you goes to a lavatory, he should neither touch his penis nor clean his private parts with his right hand.ā€ **

This is why muslims eat only with their left hand. Because mohamad said so!

And don’t breathe in your drinking cup. Why???

More nonsence. A very superstitious man and not a prophet of God!

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 156: Narrated Abu Qatada:

**The Prophet said, "Whenever anyone of you makes water he should not hold his penis or clean his private parts with his right hand.

(And while drinking) one should not breathe in the drinking utensil ." **

I can’t help it… but these hadiths are getting cheesier… šŸ˜›

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 157: Narrated Abu Huraira:

**I followed the Prophet while he was going out to answer the call of nature.

He used not to look this way or that.

So, when I approached near him he said to me, ā€œFetch for me some stones for ’ cleaning the privates parts (or said something similar), and do not bring a bone or a piece of dung.ā€

So I brought the stones in the corner of my garment and placed them by his side and I then went away from him.

When he finished (from answering the call of nature) he used, them . **

Stones to clean you butt???

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 158: Narrated 'Abdullah:

**The Prophet went out to answer the call of nature and asked me to bring three stones.

I found two stones and searched for the third but could not find it.

So took a dried piece of dung and brought it to him.

He took the two stones and threw away the dung and said, ā€œThis is a filthy thing.ā€ **

It looks like you only need 3 stones to clean your butt…!!! 😃

But remember, no dung!!! šŸ˜‰

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 159: Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

**The Prophet performed ablution by washing the body parts only once. **

***I’m going to put another hadith with this one…

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 160: Narrated 'Abdullah bin Zaid:

**The Prophet performed ablution by washing the body parts twice. **

One hadith claims once and the other hadith claims twice. So the question is, how many times did mohamad wash his body parts??? Like who care…!!!

Dung to clean your butt?

He actually told him not to bring that as if someone would have?
