**We do not pray to a black stone. We pray to Allah only. But we have a center of prayer. It is a miracle. The prophet Muhammad started his preaching and prayers with a center for prayer. How wise of him. It is not less than a miracle.
Did he know that his teachings will spread into other cities and countries? And that they will need a center of prayer to face to? That people will make mosques all over the world and they will need a direction. That people praying individually in a house, if there is no center of prayer, they will in the same room face to different directions and it will create confusion and a joke.
The christians also face a direction inside the church.They face their pictures and idols in the church. Why do they not face their bck to those images during the prayer. It is not sensible to do that. Similarly, we Muslims have a direction that we face all over the world.
It proves the truth of Islam that Islam was to spread in all parts of the world and it did. I hope youwill understand the wisdom behind these things. Also you could learn some lesson from your leaders, predecessors, the Jews, who had a sense of direction nd had the will to build a house of God.**

**I am honestly telling you that christianity is not as it should be. It is not the relgion that Jesus preached. But anyhow, even if it was all wrong, the efforts of the christian preachers, helped by the political superiority of the western countries made good advances into the world religious market.
People are not so serious about religion and they found it easy to follow christianity and enjoy the worldly life. The extra ordinary effort of the church preachers with a backing and system made it possible to convert the poor people to christianity.
I have no grudge. They were rewarded for the great effort. Not for the great truth. The present day progress of mankind in many scientific fields is not due to church teachings. It has become possible because the church left the scientific field to the scientists and stopped fiddling with the science matters.
In fact, the church left most of the legislative matters and did not interfere in the worldly matters of the people. That is why we see so much misbehaving people, drinking and gambling and sunk deep in free sex in western countries.

I find it odd that you assume that the Catholics in the photos Ham posts are doing any of the things you suggest. No Catholic believes that a statue does anything. You have been lied too if you think that.

i find it interesting that muslims are sneaky in their art by making “pictures” in arabic calligraphy, they make pictures in geometric patterns, and these pictures are littered all over your mosques. you guys still pray there in front of them. maybe they figure that God doesnt know what the pictures are of…they obviously must have duped Him…im sure He will never notice or pick up on it
only God can forgive! we dont ask our patron saints for forgiveness, thats definitely NOT their jurisdiction. we as Catholics believe that priests, who were given the ability to forgive (Jesus breathed on them to receive the Holy Spirit, thus instituting the priesthood starting with His Apostles. He also said “what you bind on earth is bound in Heaven, what you loose on earth is loosed in Heaven.” meaning: that (and this is from the Bible, just summarized) “when we confesss our sins, God is just and forgives us”. God uses the priests as His instruments through which we can find forgiveness, but the forgiveness is by God. check out the Catechism if youre nosey.)

yes, we face forward in Church, towards the Tabernacle and Altar where Christ IS. the only way we could possibly face a picture or statue of a Saint in Church is if it was placed in the front. however, we never worship the statues, our eyes and hearts are on Christ who is truly Present to us in the Most Holy Eucharist. Churches have statues and pictures facing towards where the people are so that the backs of the statues are to whatever wall they are on…makes sense to me. why would you hang a picture with the front of it to the wall? the difference between muslims and Christians is that we dont feel we need a navigational bering and pull to a HUGE black rock thats thousands of miles away. and we get a cool nametag if we’ve gone there and kissed it. we dont bow in the direction of the tomb where Christ was buried. there was a huge stone in front of that. our navigational bering and pull is to Christ alone in the Holy Sacrament of the Altar that lives in the Tabernacle waiting for us to come and visit. Christ wanted to be among men so He left us Himself in the Holy Eucharist until He comes again. He didn’t want to abandon His people. **

the past night or so ive been thinking of when God promised Hagar that her son would be a great nation. maybe im thinking of when and what i was taught when i was muslim, but Ishmael’s bloodlines according to islam (i think

So they probably didn’t think it was important to mention Muhammed (Phub) when telling the story of Ishmael and Issac.
