those idols were kept inside the holiest mosque of the Muslims. Prophet (p) never went to any temple to break idols.

BTW , in Bible , is not there a story about Abraham (p) breaking idols ? Do u hate Prophet Abraham (p) for that ?

when muslims ruled india then the 6th mughal emperor(aowrangajeb/alamgir)compeled hindus to pay jizyah tax though india is a hindu country!!!

The next time I hear about some school wanting to have ‘pray like a muslim’ day, or ‘be a muslim’ week - I think I will ask that the reverse be done to the muslims.

In all equality there should be a ‘pray like a Jew’ day for the muslims to do, and ‘be a dhimmi’ week for the muslims also. For the ‘be like a dhimmi’ week, they will wear something other than their head scarves and other head gear - and wear a moon on their clothes. Then upon entering the classroom they will be required to kneel down and hold their head down and one non-muslim student will be picked each day to hit the muslim on the face while taking the money from them in order for them to enter the classroom. the money will be given to charity - a charity of the non-muslim kid’s choice. I would recommend the SPCA since dogs are so low on the muslim’s list of things that they like. Or I would suggest a pig farm, but many pig farmers don’t need their jizya payment.

And that would be equality when muslims start demanding things in our schools. Oh, and that also means that history books would have to have the teachings of Jesus in them just as the muslims want the 5 tenets of islam and a fairy tale about their prophet being a nice guy. While non-muslim students read the fairy tales of muslims, the muslims would be required to read the terrible history of the Asian Indians and their 3 major jiihads against them, the slaughter of the Armenian Christians, the slaughter of so many in the Middle East and the theft of their lands by muslims, etc.

That would be equality.

Oh, and I should add to the ‘be like a dhimmi’ day - the muslims would be subject to being beat up on the school yard, told that they have to eat whatever the others don’t want to eat, and clean up the restrooms and whatever else the other students don’t want to do.

There is no such story in the Bible. I see that you have not read the Bible yet. My friendly advice to you: do read the Bible. It is not very reasonable to debate with Christians here without knowing their scripture

Prophet Jesus (pbuh) most definitely did NOT put up any statues or graven images of Cherubims (or for that matter, statues of any other of God’s creations like that of his own mother) in the temple that he worshipped in.

And neither did any of his disciples did this after his alleged crucifixion.

And so, why do modern Christians have this need to do it?

Are they following Jesus (pbuh) and his disciples in they way that they worshipped the Lord… or… are they following the ways of their Church leaders when they bow down to these statues and graven images?

Jesus was a Jew and worshipped in the Temple in Jerusalem, where the Ark of the Covenant was with Cherubims on them.

Jesus did not leave his disciple a Holy Book, which is fixed in a particular time, but rather, Jesus left the Holy Spirit, because Christianity is intended to be a living tradition, to continuously receive direct guidance from God even after the departure of Jesus.

Christianity is not a legalistic tradition, like Islam. Did Muhammad and the companions do it like this? Christianity is a spiritual tradition.

The point is this, you try to make Christianity into a legalistic tradition by bringing the second commandment. And through the grace of God, I used the legalism that I was taught from the Muslims and provided a legal basis for the permissiblity of graven images.

And all you can say is Jesus didn’t do it. Jesus taught us principles. Jesus said, You search the scripture. He wasn’t talking about the New Testament, it did not exist back than. He was talking about the Old Testament. And I provided a legal basis for my Catholic Brothers and Sisters for the use of Graven images, from the Old Testament, which Jesus told us to search.

I remember when I was Muslim, I use to practice tasawwuf, and we engaged in Hadra. And Muslims use to always say, Muhammad and his companions did not do it. And that the deen is complete. Part of the deen being complete is that Ijithad (making new rulings) was part of the deen. And companions did it all the time.

And guess what, ijithad is part of Christianity as well.

C Z, the verse 4:157 is perfect answer to what happened to Jesus who was put on the cross just for a few hours on Friday. Even Pilate had doubt about Jesus death. Pilate said 'Has he died so quickly?"

Maybe they didn’t tell Pilate that they stabbed Him through His heart.

It was God’s plan that Jesus should suffer. A thousand years before it happened, God told us about it…

Acts 4:2 - Jesus had risen from death, which proved that the dead will rise to life.

Romans 6:9 - Christ has been raised from death and will never die again - death will no longer rule over him.

I am signing off this forum but before doing so I would like to say that we do not all think that muslim people are bad. They are the same as all other human beings - they love and suffer just like anybody else.

It is a shame that the Jihadists and Islamist do such horrible things in the name of Islam. I also think that it is a shame that you are not free to choose your religion and if you convert to another you can be killed.

I know that in Saudi if you convert to another brand of Islam you can be punished, even killed.

THAT is BAD, very BAD.

Well, Jesus told me not to lie. It was mohammed who did the things that he did. Why should I ignore these things? mohammed led so many raids and enslaved so many women and children and killed so many people that they don’t even have numbers for how many.

And he is the one who wished others to be killed by his followers - one being a poetess who was killed while feeding her baby and with her other children - yeah, that is the nice guy you follow.

If you don’t like reading your own koran and hadiths (since it seems that you are not familiar with them) there are some books that have these things in easier to read versions. I know how hard they are to read since there is just so much violence in them and they go on and on about mohammed:

I pray for all people but make a special point of praying for Muslims because they are not free to believe.

I also pray for secularists because they have no beliefs except their unbeliefs. They are very dangerous because they want to rid the world of all types of believers.
