My Christian brothers and sisters, it is natural to make opinions with others and hopefully we do it with tact and be open minded to our critics. We see hatred here and R_not exhibited that towards islam which I think the reason behind that hatred is beyond comprehension by human emotions. Silouan I would guess is a very open minded person which is after fror the truth and facts of life. No two person are alike and we should just post our messages here to the point of making our point reasonable. Sometimes I called planten dumb that after posting it I regreted because at some point I consider dumb also. But we sometime ran out of description and the only terms we could use are offending. My point here is about the natural emotions of human life which we could never be perfect. It was a bit harsh for me to compare Osama Bin Laden to R_not. And I apologize for that. But R_not is not a fair lady. R_not has wrongly slandered Islam based on the actions of some ignorant Muslims.

R_not has good intentions and I hope and pray the Lord reward her for that. There is the bitter truth and then there is slander. R_not has slandered Islam and the good Muslims in the world, who wish to live at peace with Jews and Christians.

If you have studied Islam, you would know that this verse is NOT general in meaning, but rather it is specific in meaning. This verse refers to a specific group of people who longer exist.

This verse is not a license for Muslims to kill any Jew or Christian they see and it is wrong for you, R_not or any other person for that matter to say that this is how all muslims understand those particular verses.

It is not different than, American Christians who justified slavery based on verses from the Old Testament, or Mormons who justified polygamy based on verses from the Old Testiment.

This is why some African Americans have judged Christianity in the same light you have judged Islam based on the misunderstanding of verses. Because of the treatment that some African American have received from some American Christians before the 1960’s have labeled Christianity as the white man’s religion and refuse to be Christian based on that. A whole Islamic sect was created based on this hatred for Christianity, called the Nation of Islam founded by Elijah Muhammad, currently ran by Louis Farrakhan.

People should judge a religion based on its true teachings, not on the ignorance of its followers.

They are only educated to what God allows them to see or think, Just as when Jesus healed the blind man & the high priest had a go at him for healing on the sabbath, and he quoted i have come to give sight to the blind and take it away from the educated, what Jesus was saying here those who think they really know God , dont know him at all.

**Sorry, the anti-christ is the one whose teachings are against the original teachings of Jesus. It is proved many a times the present day church is anti-christ. All its teachings have been reversed. Jesus never said he was god (in clear words). This was a very basic very important issue. He should have said it openly that he was God. But is there such a word from Jesus in the bible. Certainly not. Then how come church is now preaching godhead of Jesus and at the same time church is afraid of the onslouhgt of the Jews and the Muslims. So church is sticking to one God also. Jesus was never worshipped even for a day. If he was god, he should have been worshipped.

This was just one major example of the problems with church. There are many more . The doing away of the law which Jesus and his apostles all followed. It has been cleverly done away with by some sly manner. I should not inform the friends about who has reversed the teachings. Quran did not do it nor did the OT. It is done by the church itself. Yes the Quran is uncreated and eternal word of God, so is the Gospel and so is the torah, that doesnt make them separate Gods!! It is because they are from God that we call them Holy. But calling them Holy doesnt make them Gods!!!

**It is a false accusation about the Quran. Quran was not authored by any one and nobody claims to have authored the Quran. There were scribes. Quran is a revealed word of God.

But on the other hand the bible has authors. They are named mathew and mark and luke etc. They wrote everything from memory from their own mind. So where does your bible NT stand? Just like any other book being sold in the market?

When you can accuse the Quran to be authored, then you should look at your own book too with a fair mind. **

It is for sure that Christians who share your ideas or beliefs are polythiests.

As far Jews and Moslems, they are very STRICT MONOTHEISTS.

The issue you are raising about whether the Moslem Koran being created or uncreated, not to be found in the Koran nor their authentic traditions of the founder of Islam. It has to be there if you are to blame Islamic religion for not being monotheistic. Because their religion is based on those basic things, as they have no Papal system. The rest is merely OPINIONS or VIEWS of moslems (not of Islam), in which they (moslems) are not obligated to accept them.

Just like official statements of Pope and views of some individual Catholic priests are not necessarily same thing.
