**I said I do not agree to what that Abdul Khaleq may have said. You think he is right and I know he is wrong. So what is the problem?

Quran may be full of hatred for the non-believers but non more than what Jesus hated. Jesus also hated and abused the non-believers, calling them rascals and sons of vipers and calling them wicked generation…

Were those words of love for those Jews who did not believe in Jesus?. Very serious hateful words from Jesus for the non-believers.**

You’re pathetic! How dare you! You can’t prove anything and resort to blaspheming Jesus and you can’t even see the evil of Muhammad. Jesus had the right to say those things. He could read their minds and knew their hypocrisy! Those Pharisees pretended to be very pious and were nothing of the sort.

Why are you so blind about the evil that Muhammad did or had done in the name of his false god! All the evil things ascribed to him come FROM YOUR OWN SCRIPTURES and yet Muslims keep ignoring them and continue to believe in him.

**Vicki, you were finding something hateful in Quran. I pointed out the hateful things in the bible. Why do you close your eyes to the abuse dished out by Jesus. it is all in the bible. he said sons of vipers, wicked generation. I do not deny that he had the right to say all that, all those hateful words to his disbelievers.

What a foolish remark from the spirit of pure Islamic ignorance and idiocy! :rolleyes:

Jesus was a Jew. He denounced His own religious leaders because of their mistakes and disbelief. As God in flesh, Jesus reproved His own chosen nation (Israel). Besides, Jesus always referred to the Old Testament (God’s word) while criticising His own people.

Was Mohammad a Jew? NO!
Was Mohammad an Israelite? NO!
Did Mohammad know the Old Testament? NO!
What did Mohammad refer to while denouncing Jews? The Old Testament? NO! He used his fabricated book (the Koran).

These points show that planten’s analogy between Jesus and Mohammad with regard to denouncing some people is false and illogical.

you have found a nice weapon and if anyone will show any error of your scriptures then you will abuse Jesus,very bad policy.Vicki was not saying any harsh words to your prophet in her post,she was just telling what your scriptures actually taught! But you are abusing Jesus with your untrue words and irrational stubbornness.And as I just say ,you have found a weapon and you are misusing it. If you really want to abuse Lord Jesus then do it.If you are too much interested then lets start bashing each other with proofs,but it will not be very good thing you know. Without proofs please do not say anything. And please never call Jesus your prophet because he is not your prophet, he is our God only and that’s why you are abusing him because you want to take revenge. OK you are welcome,prove your claims. It is about time we start insisting on planten proving his assertions, especially when it is referring to Jesus.

If he is getting his stuff from the Bible or the Koran too which tells us loads about how he is thinking.

Thank you dear R_not.Actually you saw at past that planten always denied the explanation of muslim scholars and he explained Koran in his own way,and sometimes do not agree even with hadiths of Bukhari and it is a real surprise!So I am afraid that in future he will do so again!

You have mixed up things. That is your good things with the bad too. It is true that you look for bad things in the Quran. Of course there are many good things in Quran too. But You.all look for the bad things. that is the Bad Habit.

In return I have to do the same with your bible, whereever I can see something wrong. And there is a lot of wrong things. I never start any argument accusing any one about bible or Jesus. It is always done from your side. In return I could be patient and quiet and not say anything.

But you people are in bad habits for a long time. You want your stuff to be greased on both sides. You want all the good things for yourself and all the bad things for others. That is a bad attitude. You stop reporting the bad things from Quran then I will also refrain from pointing out the mistakes / faults of bible. It is simple equation. Agreed?

You can show us the so called errors and bad thing from bible as much as you can.Do it mercilessly, we are ready to face you.But also prepare yourself for your reward,because when you will try to show the so called errors from bible then we also have to show lots of errors from Koran and also from Hadith.So please prepare yourself .
 
What have the followers of Islam given the world in the last 500 years that is of significance? It seems to me that most of the advances in the world have been made by Judeo/Christian cultures.

The western countries progressed in technology. Please let me remind you that progress was not due to any christian help. Rather the progress has been made because the church left everything to the scientists and stopped bothering the scientists.

Previously the church was punishing the people who were making any significant advancement. Galileo is a good example of the great sufferers. I admit that Muslims have not contributed anything during last 500 years. The west had made much progress in mathematics and physics,**

If you’re referring to the works of Greek Philosophers it is true that in Western Europe many of the writings of Aristotle were regained through contact with Islamic writing, particularly Avicenna and Averross, if I’m not mistaken. First we have to recall that Muslims acquired the writings of the Greek Philosophers through the Christians of Alexandria, and therefore you can view it as Western Christians regaining what Christendom originally possessed, and ironically, something Muslims took from us.
