Israel’s story is far worse than “a bit thin.” They’ve known all along that Hamas never kidnapped those three kids. The Israelis have openly admitted that was just a lie. It is also a known fact that Israel created Hamas in the first place! They manufactured it as a device to ensure that a Palestinian state would never exist.
Maybe more Israelis need to die in order to curry favour with the world, i.e, it’s not enough that 6 million Jews were killed.
Remarkable, and the Arab world is astonishingly silent. The UN condemned the rocketing of Israel, and insisted on support for all displaced needy. Israel recorded 2000 case’s of aid this year to Hamas, I guess to the supposed enemy? And the religious implications are dead silent, I guess the religion and world peace plan ought to be forthcoming in advance in this regard or I have to assume its not of consequence and according to all media coverage? Why are they silent on the interaction of the two? I give Isis credit on that point, full disclosure. Can’t miss the message. Can’t miss the world silence on the yearly slaughter of Christians and displacement, but the UN did what about that?

Why would you assume that’s what’s meant? How about less deaths? How about an end to the occupation? This current crisis has nothing to do with the Holocaust and you linking the two implies that those who are aginst the actions of Israel are anti-semitic. Why else would you bring that up?
I think Hamas is overtly anti-Judaism, if not anti-Semitic. I think in Europe and America, while there may be some of that, mostly the issue is Israel doesn’t lean toward secular progressivism.
Hamas intentionally launches attacks from points that will cause large civilian casualties. The obvious reason for doing so it that the can kill innocent civilians and gain sympathy from other countries by playing on their emotions at the same time. And there strategy works like a charm as this thread, and the press in general, has shown.
Israel attacks targets, and unlike many other countries at war, they give ample notice of attacks in the area. Naturally, it is difficult to find such information in the liberal media.

Your playing right into the hands of Hamas; this is EXACTLY what they want to portray to the world. Launch attacks from schools, infrastructure, mosques, shelters, and hospitals, have Israel attack those targets, then blame Israel for destroying them, and get the world to support you. Satan works in mysterious ways, doesn’t he?
If I were Hamas, I would prefer that. The tunnels could then be opened back up, or extended from the point they weren’t sealed.
First, the bombing isn’t indiscriminate; it’s targeted. Of course, Hamas takes action so that certain areas are targeted causing damage to infrastructure and civilians. And they know that most people will only see the bombed out school, which hides the evil that Hamas is committing. Win-Win for Hamas.
Actually, the opposite is happening. The Muslim world is getting fed up with these radicals, and it is about damn time. You can only kill so many of your own, which is exactly what Hamas is doing, before people get fed up. Even al Qaeda got to the point where they were killing too many Muslims and had to back off because of backlash of their own. Naturally, those in the West are simply clueless about most of this because they don’t have to deal with any of it. They simply talk in platitudes and offer nothing as far as solutions go.

If I recall accurately, the truce/peace plan offered up by Egypt prior to the Israeli incursion into Gaza was not only accepted by Israel, but also by the Arab League. IOW, Hamas started this, is responsible for this, and is directly and solely responsible for the deaths of innocent Palestinians.
Hopefully this will convince the residents that it is time for Hamas to quit firing rockets into Israel
