And murder.War. Famine. Disease.
One of these things is not like the others! Hint: it involves human agency.

I’m probably going to regret this, but it’s almost Lent and I’m a glutton for punishment…Choice. The person is offered the opportunity to determine what they want to do.
Some people make right choices and some make wrong choices.
Whether it be elections, education, jobs, use of substances, etc.
I do not like abortion, but that is my opinion and that is my choice.
As do I. The whole Pro Life movement is about saving lives. That’s it. Plain and simple. If you are coming about it in any other way then it is an attempt to equate one’s political agenda ( climate change, gun control, etc) with abortion.I suggested was that those choosing abortion and many others in different situations needed to be evangelized in a general way.
She disagreed.
She said abortion was the biggest problem to be solved.
From what perspective?Instead of pro-life, why not a rebrand “pro-birth” because after the child is born there does not seem to be all that much concern about the quality of the child’s life, including child health care, education and other quality of life issues.
Oh I’m hopeful. Probably naively so. (S)he only ignored the last two times @blackforest made the same point. (S)he then went on to respond to a post by blackforest posted after the initial post which prompted the response.I 'm awaiting the answer with baited breath.

I agree with that. Working to enshrine the right to life of the unborn in the law does not mean that we can’t support the other issues. However if one candidate supports the right to life of the unborn but I disagree with their polices on poverty etc and the other is good on poverty etc but supports legal the one who supports the right to life of the unborn will get my vote. Also, to address social problems is to understand that making abortion illegal doesn’t magic away the conditions thst prompted a woman to choose abortion in the first place. So while we work for and “wait” for the day that protection of the unborn is enshrined in the law, we can also work for policies that in the meantime decrease the desirability and demand for a abortion. Do you see the difference? There are plenty of surveys that have been done on women who have had abortions and what their stated reasons were.
And I don’t care. The GOP is counting on voters like you.
