Godwin’s law. Also keep in mind there was a time when people dismissed the idea of the Nazi regime having the resources to systematically murder six million Jews as hyperbole.
You lose.

I would tend to side with the GOP conservatives much more than the libertarian types.have to remember, today’s GOP is made up of two major groups: conservatives
And that is a role preformed by many Catholic charitable organizations. For example, Paul Stefan Homes in Virginia bought and remodeled an old hotel to provide a home for struggling mothers. Can we take care of everyone, of course not, but I believe that it is a function better performed by charities than the government.By means of health care, nutrition, and housing when and until they can be provided for in a dignified manner.
Maybe so, but in America today both are necessary.performed by charities than the government.
What if you believe the position of the Republican party makes the problem of abortion WORSE, as historical statistics show?Catholic organization X says that this means you must vote for someone who advocates for a sudden and absolute legal change whereby all abortions are not longer allowed, and for people pursuing abortion to be punished, and for there to be little else to prevent abortion other than its immediate illegality.
You are putting words in my mouth. I do not think the Democratic Party is “totally evil.” I think socialism & communism are totally evil.phil19034:![]()
I think it’s clear that you view the Democratic Party as totally evil and nothing good, and the Republican party as good with a few small warts that need to be worked on.OK – which bullet points on your list are OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED by the Democratic Party?
*infanticide (abortion is a form of infanticide)
*euthanasia (can be a form of fratricide, patricide, and/or matricide)
*sin of the Sodomites
Now, which positions are supported by the Republican Party? NONE.
Therefore, IMO, your own bias and political leaning is skewing your judgment.
I view both parties as having both good and evil qualities, and members of both parties being both good and evil people.
I think neither party is perfectly evil nor perfectly good, and I can understand why someone would suppoet one party over the other, whichever party they may support.
Yes, out Church is the best at this. And as a conservative I want to see the city, counties and states help out with this more. But I don’t want people in Washington telling people in states they’ve never been to how to care of their people.phil19034:![]()
And the Church goes further. As far as the Catholic Church is concerned, abortion is MURDER. Besides euthanasia, no other existing political position reaches the level of evil of abortion and euthanasia.
The Church believes it is not enough to fight for their right to life, we must fight for their right to life after these babies are born…By means of health care, nutrition, and housing when and until they can be provided for in a dignified manner.
There is no greater advocate for life after birth than our Church. It amazes me over and over again how one can claim a Right to Life agenda without taking into the considerations necessary for that life when it is here. Never fails.
Or just make the Dem party better.I’m a strong supporter of all pro-life Catholics becoming Republicans so we can take over the Republican Party and make it better.
Not when the Chairman of the Democratic Party says pro lifers are not allowed.I’m a strong supporter of all pro-life Catholics becoming Republicans so we can take over the Republican Party and make it better.
Not when the Democratic Party supports abortion on demand
Not when the delegates at the Democratic Convention boo God.
Not when the Democratic Party supports normalizing sexual sin.
Not when the Democratic Party is an official member of the socialist Progressive Alliance.
Not when the Democrats sue nuns, like Little Sisters of the Poor and groups like ETWN.
Should I go on? The Democratic Party is officially anti-Catholic, they just don’t want to admit it because they don’t want to loose Catholic voters.
I didn’t find Mr. Maturen to be qualified to be President. I thought his experience as a car salesman really wasn’t relevant to running a large operation like the US government.Although in 2016 the ASP ran candidates for POTUS and managed to get 6,662 votes (one of which was mine).
Saying the Democratic party is officially anti-Catholic, but they don’t want to admit it is an oxymoron.Should I go on? The Democratic Party is officially anti-Catholic, they just don’t want to admit it because they don’t want to loose Catholic voters.
