OK good example. So are some Americans walking around drunk displaying a wad of cash or wearing overly suggestive clothing and exposing too much of themselves? If so, then (according to you) then they are asking to be robbed and raped.
Yes, definitely.
What do you think the ‘victim’ characteristics would be for some Americans being vapourized in their offices by a plane flying into the building where they work?
There aren’t any, any more than there are for civilians killed in a bombing attack or caught in a crossfire.

Why la Mecca and Medina are bombed by sudanese christians or copts, they´re killed by muslims and they suffer, why don´t they bombed? why?
All we suffer, and this isn´t a justification for terrorism, feed the victimism is the best way to create terrorism.

Are there ‘victim’ characteristics for people who are not civilians killed in a bombing attack or caught in a crossfire?

Were you attempting to draw an analogy between people robbed or raped and people bombed?

No, the former had something to do with their becoming victims, the latter were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Can you suggest a target? Baghdad? Damascus? Riyadh? Cairo? Beirut? Gaza?
Riyadh 1st. Warn the world the next suicide bomber who straps on a bomb-belt and kills innocents anywhere in Allah’s name and we will turn Mecca into glass and onto that glass we will pour 5,000 barrels full of pig’s blood.

Yes. 🙂

And you can add Karachi, Mecca, Teheran, Mosul, Basrah, Medina, Tabriz, Amman, Jakarta, and Islamabad to the list as well.

That’s not a bad idea, either.

Now if you nuke Gaza you are going to get alot of fall out over Israel…arent they one of Americas friends? Nice way to treat friends:(

People who blame the “West” for the actions of terrorists murders are the same people who blame crime victims for being a victim of a crime.

But, sometimes it is. Men walking around drunk displaying a wad of cash, girls in a rough part of a city wearing overly suggestive clothing and exposing too much of themselves are two examples of people who are virtually inviting robbery or rape.
In this year died good King Alfred. He was a stark man and a fierce and brought peace to both man and deer. Men said a virgin might walk naked the length of his kingdom carrying a bag of gold, and no man dare molest her.

– The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle
If we had made progress – or merely held our ground – since Alfred’s day, we could do those things without worrying.

The crime is not committed by the victim – it’s committed by the criminal, who has sole responsibility for his actions.

Israel, to be truthful, isn’t any better or worse than the Arabs surrounding them. The Arabs have suicide bombers, jihads, and intifadas, the Israelis have ethnic-separation fences, bulldozers to flatten villages filled with people they don’t like, enforced overcrowded ethnic slums for second-class citizens they don’t like, and Sabra and Shatila. In a very real way, they resemble the Nazis who oppressed them in World War II.

Said like a true anti-semite.

Israel has had its share of human rights violations. Recognizing that does not make one an anti-Semite. If you can refute what was said, please do so. Otherwise, please do not violate forum rules by resorting to name calling.

He is solely responsible for his crime, but the victim contributes to being victimized by his or her provocative action.

If that fellow’s money remained in his pocket and wasn’t being waved about, if that woman was modestly dressed, the changes of their being victims would have been very small.

Sabra and Shatila was made by christians not jews, christian falanges because their leader had been killed by palestinians. Israel is much better than these countries, is a democracy and there are human rights.

Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Haifa would be great targets, too, as would Tunis and Algiers, and even Ankara.

Gosh, when you get started thinking about this, there are just so many places worth vaporizing, eh?

I hope there is never a nuclear war, but I do think we should publicize that we have identified nuclear targets, generically identified as those who fund terrorist, send them, who give them blessings, etc. We shouldn’t identify them by name.

Think I’m itching to provoke a nuclear war? Nope, the opposite. Mutually Assured Destruction kept the Soviet Union from nuking us (and from their perspective, kept us from nuking them) during the cold war. I’m looking for the same kind of deterent now.

It’s harder now, since nuclear weapons won’t have a return address. But we can deter their use by announcing that if terrorist use nuclear weapons against us, then their cause will be damned. We have to announce it now though, because if we wait until after it will only be vengeance.

If you think that sounds hard or wrong, consider the alternative.

Why would we vaporize the cities of our ally, Israel?

Some of these characters will think anything is provocative.
