At first I was in a hardcore mindset and planning on going to Mass no matter what, but I changed my mind because of the wider consequences.
I’m young and healthy and not personally too worried for my safety, but with all the knowledge I’ve read about the pandemic and the fact that people can be carriers for a full week or more without symptoms, I think I’m not attending Mass anymore since the obligation is suspended anyway. It just seems like the best and kindest decision imo. I think everybody here should consider that aspect of the question if they haven’t already and not just themselves. All it would take is for me to catch one particle, and then I end up infecting everybody in my household without ever realizing I’m sick.
Here’s to hoping that the shift in seasons will decrease the rate of transmission. The rates don’t seem to be nearly as steep in Thailand/Vietnam/Singapore so that is promising
Peace.
