She is the one who brought it up. I don’t see how her miscarriage has anything at all to do with whether the federal govt should provide funds to Planned Parenthood.

Well, then if that is the definition of abortion, I’m guilty. We suffered three consecutive miscarriages and after the third demise, we had a d&c.

If that is what the congresswoman is referring to, WHAT IN THE HECK DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH FUNDING PLANNDED PARENTHOOD???

In what way?

I am still at a loss as to how the loss of child relates to whether Planned Parenthood should get govt funding. It would seem that given her sorrow over losing her child she would not favor supporting a group that takes the lives of several hundred thousand children a year.

I am simply referring to her standing up to bullies who can never get pregnant and yet who pontificate about women. These are bullies who imply that women want to get abortions, or that abortion is an “easy out,” or that abortion should be criminalized, or that women are too infantile to make their own decisions about reproductive matters.

It’s that aspect of Jackie Speier’s testimony about which I am speaking, not about whether or not Planned Parenthood should be defunded.
